Parish will NOT be coaching Tigers next year

My mate who drives for Star Track Express did a delivery at Concord Oval, he just saw **Kevin Walters**, Alan Langer and Peter Ryan walking into the offices there.

During GF week? Seems unlikely, but I guess stranger things have happened.

ABC Sport report confirming Parish is going to Eels - http://www.abc.net.au/news/2012-09-27/parish-leaving-sea-eagles-for-eels/4283528?section=sport

They are probably staying up the road at homebush, if he had some time free this week, it would prob easy for him to drop in this week.

I don't see Walters as a fit in any way, shape or form. Now is not the time to give a P plater the keys to the car. He's proven nothing in coaching terms, won't have any appreciation of the Sydney RL landscape and would find it difficult I suspect, developing credibility with experienced and not unintelligent players like Lawrence and Farah. Next year is shaping as one of re-defining our playing style and the culture of the group. I see Anderson or Folkes as the best placed coaches to oversee such a transition.

Alot of people laughed when des was appointed coach of manly

If Kevvie brings Peter Ryan with him id be happy. Walters currently runs the Storms attack and if he can bring Ryan to fix our defense well happy days

And Alfie to be our 14th man on the field…

Amazing how things get misconstrued on here.
The MMM story and ABC story are both lifted from a Manly daily story yesterday - with some parts missing.
Parish has signed with Parra - but has a get out clause if he gets offered a head coach position.
Maybe he won't be our coach - but those articles mean nothing.

I think Parish will get it but Id go with Dymock or Georgallis. If folkes gets it Im happy enough but I just see a trend to the newer coaches as the game is evolving and folkes could also come with a bit of staleness when it comes to gameplans.

My mate who is an acid dealer in Campbelltown just saw Jack Gibson ordering a cheeseburger at Woodbine maccas

lol now this is funny!

I think if the Tigers have the chance to get Kevvie Walters bringing in Peter Ryan and Alfie Langer and the pass on that chance that will be insane.

Those 3 will bring the footbal knowledge of all they have worked under (Bennett, Bellamy, Griffin & whoever else).
Plus they would bring the Broncos professionalism.

If we have this chance we need to go for it.

Cant see all those QLDers getting the gig….I tend to agree with CT here too.

I hope Parish does not get the job, Folkes Dymock, Anderson etc
