Parish will NOT be coaching Tigers next year

Cant see all those QLDers getting the gig….I tend to agree with CT here too.

I hope Parish does not get the job, Folkes Dymock, Anderson etc

Ironic when you think that the $1.50 favorite is Parish yet I have not seen one person on this forum yetin any thread say they want him.Why the love for Parish.

From what I have heard he is hard nosed. Before he went to Salford he said "the club and team come first - and I will make sure the players know that"
When Salfords management failed to provide what they promised him he pulled the pin- no mucking around.
Maybe a few of our players wouldn't be too keen on him …

My mate who drives for Star Track Express did a delivery at Concord Oval, he just saw Kevin Walters, Alan Langer and Peter Ryan walking into the offices there.

I don't see Walters as a fit in any way, shape or form. Now is not the time to give a P plater the keys to the car. He's proven nothing in coaching terms, won't have any appreciation of the Sydney RL landscape and would find it difficult I suspect, developing credibility with experienced and not unintelligent players like Lawrence and Farah. Next year is shaping as one of re-defining our playing style and the culture of the group. I see Anderson or Folkes as the best placed coaches to oversee such a transition.

Yep or Brown. No to Walters…

So he prefers an assistant role under Stuart with the spooners?
OK

That was signed before it hit the fan here, ink.
If they choose him he'll be coaching here.

So, if Walters gets the gig, he brings Langer as the runner and Ryan to do whatever he does ???

Hopefully he brings Langer to play halfback, he spends that much time on the bloody field as it is.

Ryan has worked as a defense coach for the Bronos, Reds and Cowboys

Would love Peter Ryan as our defensive coach , he is a machine and will knock these blokes into gear quick smart

Only problem with that is Ryan and Walters had a punch up years ago ,and they won't ever be on each others Xmas card list

Either way it shows they must have a plan/strategy and be able to put a coaching team in place that what ever way you look at has a lot of experience , connections and they have all played & been successful on the big stage.

Only problem is I have doubts that Alfie would move down to Sydney…maybe Happy could shed some light on that?

But MG, who played with Matt during their time together at the Tigers, says the coach comes with a fierce reputation.

So he comes recommended by Mark Geyer and Alan Jones, who are themselves two of the worst decisions the club ever made.

Why not make it a hat trick and pick parish.

Parish has already been interviewed for the head coach role. He was unsuccessful. Walters will be interviewed next wednesday

Nice one Danny, but I'm calling BS on that. The sub-committee they formed hasn't even had an initial meeting yet, no names have been talked about yet alone people interviewed. It's going to be a long couple of weeks if people are going to post this kinda stuff every couple of days.
