Those of you who lump supporters in a basket need to look in your own backyard. I met a few die hard wests fan at a game at leichardt and they dead set "hated" the balmain part of your brand and that the magpie was "relegated" to a spot on the sleeve.

They were a fun bunch of guys though. I've also got many friends from the old Balmain days who don't really enjoy being a merged entity but it's better than no team.

All I'm saying is every club has it's rabid supporters whom you are embarrassed by. Yes the eels has them too. I travel to many eels games and take my son and daughter along, especially if it's a day game. I particularly enjoyed the game at Toyota Park against the Sharks and whilst I was happy with the win the sharks supporters showed great sportsmanship. It was a fun family day out. I particularly enjoy going to a sunday game at leichardt, especially if its a warm winters day on the eastern hill there and I've travelled to Campbelltown Stadium and enjoy the grassed area at the northern end, is it still there?

As for your comments here it does nothing to improve your clubs image by carrying on like imbeciles.

Wake up to yourselves. It's a game.

An eel i can agree with.

I can agree with most of this too. I think there are bad fans in every club, I have just personally had two really bad experiences; one with bulldogs fans and one with eels fans. Unfortunately I'm sure we have fans like that in our crowd. I do however think that wests and balmain fans, and west tigers fans have developed a thicker skin than a lot of fans, as we have both been at the end of some bigscorelines through out recent histories (agree with Gobbs on this one). I feel this may have changed the attitude of our supporter base for the better to be honest.

That's parra fans in a nutshell!

I sat in front of a few of those brainless twits myself.

They spent the first 15 minutes calling benij over rated…then didn't hear them mention his name for the next 65min. (I wonder why)

They are also the poorest winners on the face of the Earth. They get all cocky despite the fact they've been perenial chokers / losers for the past 20 years. Where do they get off?!!!

After going to Shark Park for the first time last week, I was really impressed with their fans. Many of their fans spoke to me and all mentioned how they love Tigers fans (which is a bit odd, as we nearly always beat them). There were also many comments made about how they hated the Parra fans, who played the Sharks a couple of weeks ago. You shouldn't put all fans in the same "nasty" basket, but their basket is getting very full!

Every other team, even Souths for gods sake, you can have an objective discussion about the game afterwards. They take it as a football game for the most part. A loss hurts but they talk about where things went wrong or right.

Parra fans are just shit (not all but about 80% of them)

As evidenced by trawling a oppositions forum. No doubt the fellow is one of the mentally challenged from League Unlimited

Are without compare the biggest s*** in the game.

You notice most of the jerseys tonight were either new or from the year they made the grand final. They actually do not know the rules of the game and are the most arrogant pack of pricks you will ever have the displeasure of meeting. Some of the calls around us when Tuiaki was down were a disgrace.

Win or lose they are the lowest form of s*** on the planet

soo spot on

Going without explaining how Campbelltown girls have a fondness for Subaru's is an insult?

What a shame.

Toodles princess

I don't recall seeing any of these dropkick Parra fans on our forum after the Round 14 game!

Only after a win, eh?

The missus made an interesting point that as Hayne was diving over for his try, the eels fans in the background of the shot all had their back turned seemingly hurling abuse at other fans rather than watching and cheering.

Parra Fans are so bitter and twisted that they whinge even when they win.
Do you remember when they were Booing Hayne earlier on this year.

They kept saying they were going to beat us by 40\. Didn't happen.
Even Osbourne said they had scored 4000 points with none against in the last few weeks.
Arogant all the way from the top.
They still might not make it. Go Tigers.

If the Parra fan on here at kept his argument to the game he may have maintained a skerrick (?) of repectability. However….....

My 4 year old and I bumped into one of them today at the shops in all their blue and gold glory, my son had his cap on. This particular Eelstein couldn't help but announce loudly that Benji was 'sh*thouse' and told us to follow a 'real' team :unamused: Much to my delight, I was able to refer to a small tag on his jersey that he had forgotten to remove before throwing it over his ugly head.

Sigh. Kinda made my day after last night.
