Not a whole lot to glean from that. Some of the main points.
- confirmed Matterson’s management asked to test the market, this was granted, but he won’t be released unless it is a favourable outcome.
- Obtuse answer about the salary cap limitations. Indicated we may not be as restricted as reported in the media. Again noted fairly free in 2021.
- Expect a lot of player movements across the league over the next 3 months.
- Grub, Walters and Liddle will all be considered in the hooking role.
- Sounds like they are interested in getting the Parra Easter Monday game to ANZ.
- Focus on junior development, mentioned Group 6 and the clubs interest in establishing an Academy in the MacArthur region as well as the COE at Concord.
- Will be investing in women’s Rugby League and applying for a future WT WNRL team.
