Pascoe on MMM: Brooks Confirmed, Deadline set for Ted/Woods.

Any fair-minded individual would have to say Pascoe handled himself ok. There was some tough talk and it is always difficult when you're trying to defend the indefensible, but 95% of recent and ongoing dramas were caused by others, nobody can deny that FACT.
So what if Tedesco and Woods go, we have an extra 2m in the cap and we have virtually rid ourselves of Isaac Moses.
And as I keep bringing up there are going to be a lot of tears shed with the reckless and thoughtless approach that so many other club CEO'S and Football managers have gone about building their 2018 rosters.
Our day in the sun will come.

I think the NRL is weak and will Buckle under the pressure of having most clubs already over spend on the cap and the Tigers will just have to wear it like normal

On the subject of this is not his doing and caused by administration prior is getting a bit weak to use as an excuse because he has now been in-charge for 18 months..

He should accept accountability regardless of whoever cocked up and be that leader who doesnt go looking for what caused it to break but how to get it fixed instead.

Seeing as Pascoe confirmed Brooks is in the cooling off period, you would think he would have confirmed the other 2 were in a cooling off period with other clubs if it were the case would he not have?

Hang on- if Tedesco and Woods are already gone as Hooper reckons what the hell was Isaac Moses doing in Townsville yesterday afternoon.

Hooper was disgraceful. He ignored Pascoes answers and went beyond that of a professional reporter. Did not intimate, but clearly said the reason the tigers are so bad at the moment was squarely Pascoe's fault, and all but directly called him an idiot.

I thought it was extremely disrespectful and Hooper crossed the line.

I didnt have much time for Hooper, and now I have zero. Asking the hard questions is one thing and he had every right to put those questions to Pascoe, but his follow up questions and tone clearly showed he was beyond his depth.

Pascoe in my opinion was very measured, didnt blow up, and actually stated a few facts.

He has been in there for the last 18 months and has corrected much of the mess that was caused before his arrival. If you recall, he walked into the club in the middle of the Farah blow up.

To blame him for anything other than setting up the base of a good business (and the facts are present with memberships and sponsorships) is unfair. The place WAS a basket case, we know that for sure now, but im actually confident it is being steered clearly into a far better position.

He accepted blame that the club had handled things poorly, as far as his position should. But to blame his personally is completely wrong.

The only thing to come out of the interview for certain is…...Pascoe is highly professional and intelligent and Hooper has the IQ of a house brick.

As for Woods and Tedesco go, and everything is pointing in that direction, its their call, but the club has bent over backwards for them and offered them massive deals, if they don't want to accept thats okay, but please don't blame the club

I think Hooper over stepped the mark and masked it with passion. Pascoe did well to control himself.

If hooper had any knowledge of what he was talking about it could have actually been an informative interview rather than a bashing.

To suggest the others are gone and Pascoe created the "perfect storm" confirms he is a journo first and fan second.

Good to hear were looking for players but I would like to here that we have signed some players!

I also thought Pascoe handled a very difficult situation pretty well. It was a deadset ambush.
That goose of a reporter lost me when he said that all of the advances the club had made off the field were "just froth and bubble".
Well 'goose', they are not. They're absolutely fundamental in getting the organisation into a sustainable position.
We all want success on the field. That's obvious. And hopefully it will come over the next year or two. But without the 'backroom' in good order, success on the field will not be achievable over a prolonged period.
That's where we all want this club to be - playing finals footy EVERY year.

James Hooper is hammering Pascoe…. feel sorry for the bloke!

James Hooper has just told him "They're gone both Tedesco and Woods, have you come to reality they're leaving"

He's hammering him, Pascoe is being very professional....

Christian Nicolussi in the Telecrap today has shot down everything that Hooper has previously reported.
