I think that this has to be about money. I don't think Taylor could be so stupid to believe that the team will perform better with Robbie in reserve grade. If he thinks that I think he should be sacked real quick. I still think though he should be sacked based on how he has handled this situation.
Still the club is really to blame here as well. We need to work with players regarding their contracts. I wonder how this affects Brooks, Moses and Tedesco's contract negotiations and how we manage them now and in the future. We need to show some integrity and class.
There's two sides to that - caving at this point will make them look weak and people will think they can push them around in future negotiations. There is little integrity or class surrounding player contract negotiations. You can thank dodgy player managers, Brian Waldron, Andrew Gee, the entire Parramatta board and numerous other parties for that.
We should handle ourselves with class and integrity. Stating that we don't do that because others don't isn't a good way to manage your own affairs.[/
Our own club has to learn through this, to only pay what they can afford now, and in the future years of a contract.
And not to sign a contract thinking that another club will pull them out of the Poo in the later years of that contract
**Wts caused this problem themselves. No one else .
If thats not recognised, then the chance of something similar is still there**
