I have absolutely no issue with him taking holidays. Everyone takes leave and during the early part of the season actually seems the right time for a ceo to take them. Sponsors are on board, members mostly the same, limited negotiation needed, prob the slowest period espcially given multiple public holidays and its also school holidays - assume he has kids . Also this year most destinations including NT were locked down over the last holidays and most of last 2 years. Id also imagine like most white collar workers including myself he can work from anywhere including Darwin - im working from a small country town while holidaying mtself over these 2 weeks.

It's the CEO job to make the club successful of the field✅️✅️✅ Its the Football manager and football department to make it successful on the at the moment ❎️❎️❎️ BUT its a work in progress.In this day and age he's only a phone call or zoom call away.Let the guy have a holiday especially as its been put on hold twice and now the opportunity is there to holiday with his family and what can he do to tu️rn the club around the players are the only ones who can do that.

Wow, you wouldn’t be suggesting I’m grubby mate, never dragged this holiday into the matter.

The entire topic of conversation in fact has been respectful, for the most part. Some light hearted humour around persistent failures from our top brass.

Don’t make straw man arguments, nobody would or is begrudging him family time.

He can be at home all year for all I care?

Im mixed on this especially as im not his buggest fan at the moment.

We need to remember that he is human and afterall ...

Its school holidays.

Pascoe should not be away atm.
Goodness me, if there was a chance that this team could implode is now.
New signings, Madge under threat of sacking, Tim Sheens interaction, players wanting out and a deficient roster.
Pascoe stepping back from football side is one thing but this us not a good look.
I understand where, why and who is on holidays with but your getting paid the big bucks to ensure the supporters are treated like they're the number one priority.
At the moment we all feel like the club doesn't care about us.
I can think of a few ways in which he can keep the ship steady. Another post.

He's not allowed Annual Leave
Not allowed to have his hair the way he wants
Not allowed to go to away games as a supporter in the clothes he wants...
It's beyond a joke...

Folks bang on about how many years since he's been in the top job yadda yadda...
the truth is these 2 things:
- He's been bagged the whole time he's been in the job, It doesn't matter for what.
- It doesn't matter what he does or doesn't do, He will continue to be be bagged.
 
Easter school holidays- he's probably booked it for months.

Lots of execs take time off during this period before the EOFY rush.

I'd assume his year began when our year ended last year.

There are way too many problems at this club that this non-issue doesn't deserve 7 pages.

As for Pascoe himself, we all know he has done a good job in terms of $$$ for this club. As for team's performances, we can only look at the people he has hired. Apart from Hartigan, the consensus here has been that Madge, Cleary, Sheens and Kinmorley were good buys.

He's kept guys like Benji, Farah, Skando involved within the club too.

We can't just keep churning through leaders of this club. Pascoe to me doesn't seem like the biggest issue this club has.

I agree, Pascoe had a 6 month holiday when he helped put our salary cap out of shape.
As Kenty said, running lapse around Ayers Rock is not going to help him or the club.
 
Interesting reading alot of the comments here.

I actually think most don't really care that he takes holidays, it's just the timing of him taking it right now given we are about to break Wests Tigers records for all the wrong reasons is what the most people have an issue with.

If we had won our 1st 5 games no one cares about his holiday, but we haven't so the perception is he is letting the Wests Tigers down & isn't deserved one.

It's like Scomo taking a holiday during the bushfire crisis, the perception it creates is the leaders don't care regardless of what impact that leader actually has on the outcome or effort.

if Daine Laurie and Jock Madden don't drop the ball in goal and we're 2/5 is he allowed to plan a holiday then?
