I think I saw Maguire asked what the pass mark is for 2022, which he wouldn't answer. Since myself and probably many others here anticipate wooden spoon for 2022, what would instead be a pass?
Having a dig each and every week, sure we will lose some games but you won't lose respect from your supporters. Also by trying to the end each game will help in quality footballers being attracted to the club,by quality i mean others who also never give up.I don't want to ever see half hearted players being signed by the club i support again.
Sometimes I wonder what forum I'm in. I've never seen so much club bashing in my life. It's kind of embarrassing. If you truly feel the club is hopeless and will never amount to anything, go somewhere else.
For me, I want to see a genuine effort every game. The rest will take care of itself.
For me a pass mark would be to see the whole Club pull together now and move forward with a united strategy and purpose. This starts at the top with the right support and must be evident in a tight and positive coaching group that sticks to their guns. The 17 we field each week need to play with heart and attitude and commitment win or lose. I want to see every player wanting to play for the guy next to him 100% of the game. That's enough for me and their ladder position will take care of itself.
IMHO the sign that we are on the right track is our D, one of the KPI would be definitely the number of points the opposition scores, as long as this is more than 20 points it is still the same old.
As long as the boys show commitment, passion, play as a united team and importantly unearth some young talent for the future i will be very happy.
I for one am looking forward to the start of the season. Go TIGES
