Is Pat Richards return to the Tigers the buy of the season? I can't think of a player who is going better.

Pat has been good but Tapau has been the buy of the season for mine. Widdop has been a good buy for the steelers and peats for parra too.

Taupau has been brilliant but I'm also considering Richards value as a goal kicker. Not something we have been used to over recent years!!

Richards is right up there, he is still a proven finisher and his goal kicking is excellent.

I can. Taupau and Nathan Peats

He's definitely in the top 5 though. He should get even more credit considering there were so many on here last yr bashing the club for signing a has been.

Taupau and Peats

Most improved McCullough and Hunt from the Broncos

Agree with everything but I also believe most improved are Blair and Thomson.

Peats, Widdop, Richards and Taupau would probably be the top 4 unless im forgetting someone.

Widdop or Richards would be standouts though. I love taupau, and he's one of my favorite players but his workrate and defence still require some improvement. Runs like a freight train though!

For us can't go past Richards and Taupau.

For other teams blokes like Manu Ma'u and Peats at Parra and Widdop at the Dragons.

From kick offs through to goal kicking, he's worth a lot of points. Throw in a calm experienced head amongst the juniors and he's worth every penny. A very astute buy.

Richards has been great in the early part of rhe season.

2 things however

I hail M Taupau as the buy of the season so far. His influence through sheer enthusiasm on the team has been incredible and thee exit of benji has allowed for a sizmic shift in the clubs culture away from individual brilliance or selfish play to true teamwork.

Even our tremendous captain has improved.

Kapow Mk. II is our buy of the year. Giving us that much needed impact we've been desperate for after years of Sheenius flyweight front rowers.

Patty has been great in finishing, his kicking duties and turning the 4 into 6.

Richards has been a great buy, as has Taupau, and both would be in the top half dozen buys of the year.

Peats a great signing as is Widdop, both have been huge for their new clubs.

Most of the Panthers signings are doing well.

M'Au for the eels has come from no where but has been terrific for the Eels
