A gutsy win tonight, and a massive defensive effort by all the boys.Sad to see young Teddy injured again. A special mention for Pat Richards. His experience, calmness, leadership and great effort, especially in the last few minutes of tonights game contributed to us winning it. Glad to have you back Pat.Once again well done to all the boys.

A very gutsy win under difficult circumstances…definately one to put in our scrap books.

Austin, anasta, kawpow...all very good including others.

Pat is one of those players, like Farah, you just don't want to do without. Dependable, solid and have plenty to offer every game.

Yep great buy for us
Milford made him look silly but thats not a first
I was skeptical at first…glad to be wrong

Lawrence acting as little more than a traffic cone beside him certainly did not help.

Apart from the aforementioned, Pat and the other experienced players rose to the occasion and led by example.

when it was mentioned that he was come back from England to the w/t I was one who thought we were mad taking on a 32 year old winger .I was WRONG WRONG he is the best thing to happen to the club for years how good is he going pat you are a champion

Sorry to go against the grain but if it wasn't for his boot Richards would be a fringe first grader. For his size he is actual quiet soft. His hit ups/dummy half runs don't have near the impact that they should. His 'effort' to beat barba a few weeks back after picking up a ball in broken play was weak as.

I also don't think I've ever seen him effect a tackle when he rushes in to shut a sweep down. The intercept off sandow being the exception.

Im not saying Pat is a bad player, I'm satisfied with his efforts this year. I just think we should be getting more from him and that fans are being 'romantasised' by his return too much to judge him correctly.

I agree that he's not overly strong in bringing the ball back after a kick, but apart from that, Im a big fan. I trust him out wide. Quite often you don't know what you're gonna get when you throw a ball to a winger.
