Paterson, Gavet and Taupau

Really liking having these guys in the team. All of a sudden with them on the park we look intimidating. All three look big and have something about them. I don't foresee us getting walked over in the forwards as much this year because of it.

I hope to see all three in the side come round 1.
 
Yep they're certainly making an impact. Add them to the likes of Woods, keithy, Siro & Sue (who will both hopefully be right for rd 1) & we're looking alright. Can't wait to see teddy flying thru off their offloads!!

I agree. It's nice having 2 big aggressive props, who run hard with the ball and hit hard without it. Balance that out with the experience and motors of Galloway and Woods and we're looking good.
Patterson will wreak havoc out wide. Looks like a genuine ball player, with a great defensive technique.
 
What I really like is the aggression.

Something I haven't seen from a Tigers forward pack in years.

Galloway, Sue, Big Ava, BMM, Woods, Fulton, are all quality players, but aggression isn't the first thing that comes to mind.

Damn it, I was really looking forward to seeing just that, even in this format. Sadly, I had prior commitments today and asked the missus to record them on foxtel, but she only got some pre game BS show.

Think it was a bit of payback for my tardiness yesterday, maybe I should have been a bit more romantic :brick:
 
I'm liking what I've seen of them so far, with Patterson probably the most impressive in the nines. He's got really good footwork and also has very good defence. Gavet and Taupau both look promising and run with plenty of vigour. Our forward pack definitely has more size this year and with Sirro out for 6 weeks I can envisage a starting forward pack of:

8\. Woods
9\. Farah
10\. Galloway
11\. Patterson
12\. BMM
13\. Blair

14\. Taupau
15\. Gavet
16\. Seumanaufagai
17\. Fulton/Sue

Do we know Fulton's injury?
 
Ive been at the 9s and the Tigers were warming up in front of where I was sitting. In both warm ups, Taupau was doing tackling bag work with BMM, and on both occasions, put BMM on his ass. Love the aggression.

On a side note, Woods is looking massive.

Sue made his comeback in State Cup today. Galloway from all reports should be right for round 1\. Not sure about Fulton sorry.
