He's alright, bit on the small side. The Leb connection, I should have known.

Was thinking the same thing. Not sure why Vaihu comes up & Zak Clarke goes down.At least 2 of the tries conceded by of Fleggvsidecwere straight through Sione Vaihu.
For that effort he gets promoted to NSW Cup ?
Is there any type of criteria for who goes up and down between grades as it doesn’t often seem to be form related ?
I don't see the appeal in Vaihu. Particularly not as a 2nd rower. One area I hope we prioritise and strengthen in our pathways. Was thinking the same thing. Not sure why Vaihu comes up & Zak Clarke goes down.
Can only think Vaihu is on his last opportunity to impress in the Opens otherwise look elsewhere for ‘25.
I’d like to see Solo Saukuru developed into a backrower in the next year or 2. Think he can be a damaging backrower once he builds his engine.I don't see the appeal in Vaihu. Particularly not as a 2nd rower. One area I hope we prioritise and strengthen in our pathways.
Happy to see the club invest in Broederlow as he has shown something. Other than that, I haven't seen anything to get excited about in 2nd row for Cup and Flegg.
Congratulations to Vaka Aho on his Cup debut, coming through our Balmain pathways. I’ve always liked what I have seen in him. A good size with a useful offload & decent defence. Hopefully he is one who gets even better as he rises in grade.

A bit on the small side? He's alright, bit on the small side.
Hoping he goes well, for us.
Yeah I agree on that. The coaching staff need to make the call early and give him a full pre-season to prepare for the move.I’d like to see Solo Saukuru developed into a backrower in the next year or 2. Think he can be a damaging backrower once he builds his engine.
💯 we need to be aiming much higher than Vaihu. Agree that Broederlow has upside and is worth persisting with.I don't see the appeal in Vaihu. Particularly not as a 2nd rower. One area I hope we prioritise and strengthen in our pathways.

Ron Massey cup at bestIs he of K O cup standard or better?
Well he's not really on the small side. 188cm and 106kgs, is a good size for a centre and decent size for a back rower. Certainly bigger than the likes of tumeth, vaihu etcA bit on the small side?
Not another one. What are we the land of the midgets (not that there’s anything wrong with that). The seventeen dwarfs.
If Heath Mason only gets limited minutes tomorrow night in the NRL, fair chance he plays NSW Cup on Sunday. Well I'd hope so.
He should be playing 80 regardless. No point to having him on the bench in nrl currently. He's not a utility yet. Got shown up by someone of the the same size as him, but had been developed properly by the storm. Faalogo is 200% better than Mason and yet he's still only just starting to see first grade reguarly despite being 3 years older. Meanwhile we leave him playing 5 mins a week and hope that he'll somehow turn into a star.If Heath Mason only gets limited minutes tomorrow night in the NRL, fair chance he plays NSW Cup on Sunday. Yeah I am on the fence with Clarke. Haven't seen a heap of him, but the games I have seen, his defence has really let him down. What about Zakauri Clarke? I think there's something there. More than Sukkar, Tumeth, and Vaihu anyway. And there are other clubs after him according to this article. He's a bigger body than all of them, but seems to move faster than them too.
I fear the fact the club has signed Sukkar to a top 30 deal, and Tumeth has an option to stay next year Signings link here, means they'll offer a development deal to only one edge forward, and the club will lose one of Broederlow or Clarke. Hope they keep both and then can reassess at end of 2025 when Tumeth's deal is done, and Sukkar has a club option to remain on in 2026.
The way I see the big picture, Sam Fainu, Galvin, and Bateman (if they don't move him on), can be NRL edge forwards. Broederlow and Clarke can potentially be good depth and challenge that lot. Tumeth and Sukkar are doing nothing of the sort right now.
