Huh? The guy has had bad weeks since Pole got injured. That's it. Before that he was doing fine. Give it a rest.

And you can run lines all you like but if the person with the ball doesn't pass to you, then your stats ain't gonna be pretty in that area.
If we had a weekly NSW Cup report with aa comment from the coach on each player like AFL clubs do with their reserves team, then all conjencture about Royce would be put to bed.

Richo talks about professionalism, well how about more professional fan communication from the club, not just cool video montages.

If you were a manager how long would you tolerate a employee slacking off/ going through the motions??

Royce is allegedly a professional sportsman who should set his own standards when applying to his craft, but he does not, and the question should be asked. If he is injured, why are we still playing him?? if is disinterested and mulling retirement or a overseas ESL club then he should have been in Richo's office talking to Richo and Benji. To me he looks 10-15kgs overweight and disinterested.

The biggest issue I’m seeing is when he makes a tackle he makes no effort to get back to marker or the defensive line, so it’s leaving the team a man short defending every time he makes a tackle,

He was the same weight last year at Cronulla and used as a battering ram off the bench. That was his first really successful season. Why they're trying to make him something else, I'm unsure.

He hasn't been disinterested when I've watched him although he was completely gassed in the Cowboys game, I'll give you that.

Imo Benji struggles to manage his bench and that has played a part with Royce

The rotation looked promising earlier in the season. Hunt and Fainu coming on with TDS and having some joy. Unfortunately that has fallen away on multiple fronts - benji has gone in a different direction with a small and mobile bench.

Its looking like a really bad signing. Thank god for Terrell, we would be outright last without him.
And no one is picking him up at this stage of his career. Another retirement package on the way.

Why was there the excitement though?
I was baffled that people believed this lazy turd would perform here.
It was a terible recruitment decision and that has been proven so very quickly.
We let Klemmer go early for this bum.
No, no - remember all the mouths here telling us what an upgrade on Stefano he was going to be (before we signed May)

Ones playing Origin - the other getting slapped in ressies…
Imagine that!!

Where are his supporters now?
Wasn’t it - he’s only started playing league at 15 that’s why he was late to debut…
Weird it had nothing to do with him being unfit and lazy!!

Where are they now, no one likes hearing I told you so.

I’ll put my hand up, I advocated for us signing him after Stef advised he was leaving. We were in need of a big body who could steamroll the opposition & bring some aggression. In all fairness, he was performing this role at the Sharks albeit in 10-15 min stints.

I’m not ruling out he can’t get back to that kind of player next season and a leader who can pull out effort plays like his chase on Lomax early in the season.

Maybe it’s injury related, maybe he needs a wake-up call, maybe something related to the Galvin bullying saga, who knows?!

You're giving him till next season - When he's a year older and a year less effective - Big Maybe....

or Maybe it's him coming from doing very little in a top 4 side,
to a bottom 4 side - where doing very little has far greater consequences.

Maybe! Am still hoping he’s a player who can make some impact 10 mins either side of HT while still putting in defensively next season.

Not too long ago he was reported as the guy who dominated the weights in the Sharks gym & on wrestling mat. Maybe he has helped push our guys in these training areas too. Or maybe he has fallen off a cliff the past 2 months.

Hate bagging players but getting paid to loaf in reserve grade - Russell Packer mark 2.

If Royce was 10-15kgs overweight
I’m sure a couple of the boys who got dragged across the coles for returning to pre-season training overweight would be asking some questions.
As well as paying fines out of his salary until he got back to the weight scale that he would be given.
He is not the first older player we have brought to this club that hasn’t performed too expectations.
