Halfback Mitchell Pearce hasre-signed with the Sydney Roosters on a four-year NRL deal.
Pearce's new contract will keep the NSW State of Origin No.7 at the foundation club at least until the end of the 2017 NRL season.
The 23-year-old is believed to have knocked back an offer from St George Illawarra.
“It's an honour that I don't take lightly to represent the Roosters. I couldn't see myself playing anywhere else and I'm really happy to be contracted here long term,” said Pearce in a media release.
