Perspective - Parra are good

Parra are a good side.
Yes, we could have won that game and yes, the bench selections were strange, however Parra are a good side this year with great talent and strike power across the park. All things considered, going down 1-0 (tries) is not the horror result that some are making out.

The result in isolation looks okay. The fact is Parramatta did not play great. We held them to 8 points. There is no team in the comp that should beat any other team when scoring just 8 points.

Yeah I agree - they are a good side and honestly we had more opportunities to score (3 off kicks of which at least 1 if not 2 should have been scored) whereas they only had 3 all game and Teddy stopped 2 and they scored 1.

However we also need to win these close games or you don't make the 8.

Parra however are a much better side this year then previous years

As much as I gate to admit it…their defence is outstanding...

Parra are a potential top four unit this year.
However today was not a great game from them. Their defence was superb but we didnt throw a hell of a lot at them. We had enough opportunities to win…probably more than they did.

Yep with the amount of chances we had you'd have thought we'd have managed to just jag a couple of tries. Hail mary bombs on the last 20 out would have been dice rolls but with the opportunities we created it'd have created enough points to win that game.

Parra played crap today, but with the likes of Foran Scott and a few others they have the experience to win games.

We are front runners,we look very poor when we have to come from behind

The worst bit IMO was our inability to find the try line
Yes Parra have a lot of names across the park but we at no stage looked like real contenders.

Thankfully parra were off their game too otherwise we could have gone down 40-0

Our much touted attack scored zero points, its not the end of the world but its a concern. Other teams should be starting to click by round 4, not going backwards

We are going to get flogged unless we change the attacking structure all Parra had to do was follow Tedesco. That said Parra are a well drilled defensive unit and did the same to the Dogs last week.

Parra are good. Glad it was put into some perspective.

A really important part of this game and a somewhat turning point was in the second half. After containing Parra, Farah did an early kick with a great chase. We pinned them into the corner and looked like we were full of momentum then Simona was pinged for not being square. (which was rubbish imo). However to compound this error Lovett was penalised for another high shot which marched Parra down the field and subsequently saw them score the only try of the game.

The boys defended their hearts out today. Semi was contained well. We were always going to do it tough with 2 hookers on the bench and that was amplified as soon as Grant was ruled out. Taylor gambled today and lost.

Lets hope the boys can get some quicker play the balls against the Sharks. If that happens the points will flow and we very likely be back in the winners circle.
