Exactly the way we should ignore our regional and country fans and reward a city who couldn't support a NRL the 1st time round

Maybe it should be named the soon to be city of a team who didn't want to be relocated to Perth 9's tournament

Perth were killed by the Superleague war, not through lack of support. It was a mistake that we gave up on them.

Well the NRL haven't given up on them obviously ....and I bet when they think relocation to Perth they think of one side .......

And it won't fix the one home ground issue either

My other point is this , the NRL just ignores some of the games best fans yet again ...but when you live within an hour and a half's travel between 7/8 NRL sides I suppose the fans that live 6 hours plus away just don't matter ...do they

Why do they matter more than fans that live in Perth?

The last point was to do with Sydney based on fans ...I just don't think they realize how hard and how expensive it to travel , get accomodation and watch a game

So the 9's going to Perth is a slap in the face to regional fans because Sydney fans don't go to games? ?

No the two points were two different arguments

9's is a slap to regional and country fans , you don't need a massive stadium to host a 9's tournament

Brisbane and Sydney fans don't realize how expensive it is for a family of 4 that live 6 hours away from a major stadium to get to just 1 game , especially if you don't have accommodation

The game is forgetting about it's regional fans and is far too busy trying to move to areas that aren't league heartland

Football in particular is gaining a strongehold in CQ .....and AFL is starting to strong in NQ Cairns in particular

Look at crowds at Qld NRL games this year ....numbers would easily be there lowest yet for a long time I'm talking early 2000's numbers

The 9s in Perth is going to a 20k stadium! Your just whinging that it's not going to Qld.Where do you want it?

I don't care if it doesn't come to Qld .....your missing the point ....there is a fair few NSW country and Qld country towns that aren't far from becoming AFL feeder sides

Which has nothing to do with the 9s going to Perth. Start up another thread about that issue.

You didn't answer my question ...happy if the WT's end up in Perth

And if this was about "my interests " I'd be pushing Rockhampton and a CQ NRL side

And of the 10 realistic areas to set up a new side or relocate a side I'd have CQ in the bottom 2

I'd go Ipswich , Sunshine Coast , 2nd NZ side , PNG , Perth , Central Coast , Pacific Island even Darwin before CQ

I wouldnt cared if it went to PNG, and I wouldnt describe it as a slap in the face to other cities. So you want the NRL to halt any expansion plans because our club is horrendously run? Youre quite the visionary.
Seriously happy, your having a good old sook because the AFL are making in roads into league areas but don't think the NRL should do the same.
