Lock your dog and your partner in the boot of your car for 1 hour and see who is your best friend when you open the boot.
Sadly, we lost all 3 of our dogs just over a fortnight ago. It's so empty and quiet here. And I still feel like such a jerk for having to give them their wings, but we were able to be with them, and told them we love them.

So sorry to hear of your loss. Never feel bad about loving your family and your dogs are part of your family.
I heard a saying that was "Your Dog is a best friend for part of your life, however you are their best friend for all of their life" . Wish they could live longer.
Wishing you a much better 2025 as you deserve it and may the Tigers give you some joy also.

I came home from dog training tonight and The Fonz has pass out upside down on the lounge and hasn’t moved.
We did training for his first three years, he’s well trained but loves it so I still take him every now and then to strengthen our bond. He is definitely my best mate.
