I thought following the Wests Tigers could hurt, however early this morning my beautiful girl Zoe crossed the rainbow bridge.

The loss of a fur baby who’s unconditional love never wavered has me broken at present. I know some people say it’s only a dog but she was my little buddy who spent everyday of the past twelve years by my side.

I wish all other Forum members and guests a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year as I’m going to take a break until next year.

Brother, I feel your pain, Still mourning my boy talk 10 years on, I have his photo framed in front of me now.

Im not ashamed to say I still cry but I cherish the memories.

I used to say “It’s just a dog”, and they maybe if you’re an ahole to your dog.
But if you show your dog just a little bit of loving you get that back x1000.
The Fonz has been with me for 8 years now, we just got home from a walk, and I am not ashamed to say I love him. He is my besty and when I go in to hospital for weeks for ops he goes nuts when I get back. He has feelings and misses me greatly.

I feel for you Sully.
They are not just a dog.
Merry Xmas.

Don't let anyone ever make you feel like your grief isn't real.
Grief is grief and grief for a beloved pet is just as painful as any other variety.
In some ways it's more painful because we spend more time with them than just about any other family member.
I feel your loss and send my deepest condolences.

To some they're just animals which is quite sad.
To those with a heart they're family members and feel our pain joy sadness and happiness.
Even the missus... now our cat is happy to see us when we get home.
I was never a cat bloke but he's grown on me very friendly and they sense when you're crook

Sully, I feel your pain, lost my boy Oscar, Great Dane, two years ago and I still cry thinking of him, my best mate, was always with me by my side. When I was sick and undergoing chemo, he would never leave my side. Now all I have is his everlasting memories, for ever. I don't want to get another dog as I feel it would be like I am simply replacing him. I curse Facebook when I get these memory photo's of him as I miss him dearly, no not just a dog but a true friend and companion, at least that's how I feel, again my thoughts are with you.
 
I have a pet border collie named Billie. This is an old photo (bit bigger than that now) but man they’re awesome pets. Full of energy, and people weren’t lying when they said you need a big backyard. They are a bit hard to get used to as a puppy but once they get past the biting/toilet training stage they’re awesome companions

He definitely loves his footy too… I bought him a soccer ball and a rugby league ball, he straight up chose the league ball and hasn’t looked back since haha

Sorry for the loss brother, dogs are the most loyal creatures on earth, as soon as you show it the slightest bit of care they are padlocked to you for life.
