Pets and Pics

My Mrs named our French bulldog Mooncake after a character from Final Space. I paid more attention when it came to naming our kids after that effort 😀

He’s 6 now, terrific with the kids and naturally well behaved. Partly due to early training but mostly to the Mrs being home for his first 3 years so he never developed attention seeking behaviours.

He’s a real character and rarely fails to put a smile on your face.

Losing a loved pet is horrible. I was a hysterical sobbing mess when I had to get my golden retriever put to sleep, her heart was failing and she was 15. I lay on the ground with her at the vet & cried like a baby. I still miss her smiling face sitting by my bed , watching for me waking up. I love my dogs, an aging dingo & a crazy Cavoodle but I still miss my old girl.

Yeah absolutely horrible, but we had a company come to our house to put her to sleep, it was the best decision. We didn't want her last moments to be at the vet .I gave her a massive T bone to chew on and some chocolate. Once she passed away I had dug a hole the night before.. hardest hole I've ever had to dig and now she's at rest in the front garden. 😔17 years is a awesome effort.
