Phil moss steps down

Was acting CEO, id say he wanted the position, then when Pascoe got it he started looking elsewhere.

Dare say nothing to see here.

Funny when Taylor first signed, they assembled a new team of people around him, Moss and the attacking coach(forgot his name) and might have been a few others on support roles. Now 12 months down the track they are dropping off one by one. One of the buzz words we kept hearing was a need for stability and that is one thing that has and is miles away. At some stage someone in the club is going to say enough is enough, but at present the only thing going for the club is they do not have a big long service bill to put money aside for!!!!!!

I reckon from reading the announcement on the Tigers website,Phil has found more secure, stable employment elsewhere….

It could be for personal reasons that Phil has stepped down

Maybe he wants it to stay that way

It could be…but probably isn't...Who will fix the salary cap now...?

CEO COO OR FIINO...

We are a shambles

Let's not get ahead of ourselves, until we find out why he left?

It wont make an ounce of difference WHY.
Hes gone….and any progress we made with him is stalled, or on the other hand if he was incompetent in his position, then why was he hired in the first place?
We keep changing people, there is zero stability in the place...this is just another step backwards

As you said the key word is STABILITY and there is none

Obviously there is friction at the top ..not unusual but as some have stated a little more stability at the top would be nice .The Farah drama was always going to get a few scalps as the ones who wanted him gone or to stay are marking there territory, a lot of noses put out over that one with more to come one expects. Jobs are not that easy to find in that arena so a push or shove probable on the cards a scant message I thought ..not real sold on the CEO as yet to be frank!

This is not a surprise. You would struggle to find an organisation in the world where if someone is acting CEO and applies for the CEO role but doesn't get it that they would stay. I work for one of the big banks who changed CEO last year and the other major competitor for the job left and the one who got the job had previously left one of the other banks when he didn't get the CEO role after applying for it. This is nothing to be overly concerned about or something that would be unexpected to be honest. If this was a sign of an organisation being a shambles then every organisation is a shambles.

God help me. Here we go again. Does the knocking of this club EVER stop.

By the way, has anything been said on "unsocial media" about the change of Captain at the Saints?

Probably not. Big difference.

Ps. Who cares if Moss left or got the chop? It has nothing to do with anyone but Moss and the club. Maybe he is going on a world cruise, maybe he was offered another job, maybe his cat had kittens and he wanted to stay at home.

WHO CARES?????????

Maybe he was a dodgy appointment in the first place?

I don't get the high regard for Phil Gould (Panthers) yet the enthusiasm we show when Panthers' personnel join WT? If Gould was everything we are led to believe, he wouldn't let any of them go if they were of any value to the Panthers/

So maybe we inherited a couple of duds in Pascoe and Moss.

I think the real issue is with the board who appointed them! And, Taylor of course.

What's the surprise? He was brought in to clean up our cap and that is what he has done. We are in a great position from 2017\. His job is done and he is moving on…this is the work he specialises in.

I understand that someone affiliated with our 2005 campaign will get the gig.

Who cares?..ask the club, they mustve thought someone cared, they informed everyone.

 LOL col, constantly criticising social media…....on social media :deadhorse:

I think you'll find a lot of people. Whilst this is not-news, it just shows the revolving door that is a tenure at the politically charged WT. A more succinct statement would have helped keep the vultures at bay. This short notice makes Moss look like a recalcitrant and further fuels the beast that is NRL journalism.

And it'll probably all get chucked out and started again in march. A new start they'll tell us.
