Not another 50 pages of conjecture. The new season is nearly here. Let's concentrate on that.

But the reason he left might give us many answers to many questions we have Col

Especially in regards to the Farah situation

You may not care to know why , but some here do

As Ink alluded to , some of us are up in the air still whether to rejoin as members or not and want to see a united front moving forward from the club

This from the outside , doesn't appear to give confidence to anyone either way

The reason he left is obvious - he applied for CEO role and despite being acting CEO didn't get the role, which is fine but when that happens people leave the organisation in an orderly fashion in situations like Moss. Not sure why anyone is surprised this is how business works

I can handle that if that's all the drama was.

Its all fine.
Yep
This wouldve all still occured if mayer didnt pull the pin 8 months ago.
All good…nothing to see here. Those orificies can be quite dark at times

I have no complaint if the club hired who they deemed the best person for the role and the man that missed out chucked his toys out of the cot and walked for a better position elsewhere.

This happens everyday outside of Rugby League. I'll concede that the front office has been a merry-go-round since Humphreys bailed but Pascoe does look like he's well travelled and schooled himself extensively in sports management. I'll reserve judgement until the end of the year as with Farah and Taylor.

Then again your assuming he left and assuming he applied for the CEO's role

And he was hired at the Football Operation General Manager and then was acting CEO

Unless that role became redundant he still would of filled that role when Pascoe was hired

So when I'm asked to fill in as the Area Manager , when he come back from holidays I should quit or get sacked ??

So who's been doing what Moss was doing since Mayer bit the bullet?

Its OK….these things always happen, its fine

I'll give you all one guess.

That fella with the strange name Ink

The club seems to be going ok lately, so give it a rest.

Once again, it is no one's business why he left except for Moss and the club.

Who is filling his original role?
Despite what some may say, he wasnt brought in to just ''fix the cap"
He was GMFO overseeing NRL, NYC & State Cup..and then stood in for Mayer. According to the CEO not 18 months ago, Moss & JTs appointments were "key to building a new culture and setting the foundations for a successful future at Wests Tigers. This is an important step forward for our Club."
This seems to me like a fairly significant role just sitting vacant and has done since mayer split.
The deck chairs have all been shuffled yet again
But hey, its OK…happens all the time, nothing to worry about...Im not pointing at you CB, but some here seem to be brushing this off as if its nothing
Season starts in a few short weeks :brick:

A club cannot have two managers filling similar roles but with opposite outlooks. Keeping the one who more clearly fulfils the club outlook and at the same time removing the other is to my mind a definite step towards a club's happy stability.

Why does everyone keep saying he was moved on

He may have left of his own accord , maybe he was unhappy at how stuff is being handled by Pascoe ??

The brevity of the statement coupled with the wording "No longer with the organisation" is Human Resources speak for "was sacked", no doubt about it.

If he left of his own accord it would say so i.e. "has left to persue other oportunities" or to "spend more time with his family"

The fact that they said as little as possible more than likely means he's done something shonky and they dont want to say for fear of reprecussions.

I have been through a few situations like this.

He was punted, plain and simple. He & Pascoe don't get on, so Pascoe got rid of him for someone better. Hopefully for the club's long term sake Taylor is next

Who is this "someone better" Benji?

Moss applied and was a candidate for the CEO role..Area managers are a bit different to Company CEO's I would think…wether he walked or pushed makes no difference now he's gone...

He was completing both roles in the intirem until Pascoe was appointed...

Sure, Pascoe can coach the team as well as do his job and Mosses job.

Three jobs, one man and they said men can't multi task.

Who is this "someone better" Benji?

I would guess someone who's not a mate of Taylor or Brian Smith. That seemed to be the prerequisite for employment in the football staff for 2015.

I wouldn't say it's nothing, but I wouldn't cut my wrists over it either. My statement that it does happen fairly regularly elsewhere was in that it is not unique to Wests Tigers. I worked for a business where 18 people walked in and out of the head office in a 12 month period which was significant for a head office of 40 odd people. Other businesses I've worked for and with weren't so bad, but still had rather high turnover rates.

Playing devil's advocate, the role has been vacant since Moss stepped in for Mayer, when Pascoe was appointed he probably had every intent of having Moss return to that role. Maybe Moss got a big head, wanted the top job when in the caretaker role and then got the proverbial when he didn't get it and subsequently wanted out. Maybe he's just being used as a scapegoat for the Farah debacle, who knows?

There's every chance that you're right and that it is yet once again the turnstile in action at Concord, it wouldn't surprise. The scenario I explained though is rather plausible though and just as likely. Unfortunately the club has closed up ranks and isn't leaking this sort of information anymore so unless someone gets some solid info from a person amongst it, we'll likely never know. I do understand your frustration though and while it's annoying it's been left this late in the piece, if it had to happen it's probably good that it got sorted before the season kicked off.

What the biggest question that remains is will the role be filled or just vanish?
