Good point Gallagher do you want the name or names ….trust me I am amazed the names are not being thrown around ,you can not have it both ways .

Naming your source and naming a person is leaking at a club are very different things.

If you arent going to name names it isnt a story IMO.

Problem with Gordon wasn't that he named Robbie, the fact that he broadcasted a comment made in private 15 months ago most likely out of context and is now claiming to be some sort of a messiah for Potter.

There are other options, though.

If you name names, you are putting direct heat on the named people.

If you don't name names, you are putting heat on every suspect, the majority of whom are innocent.

Then you could just report facts rather than hearsay, but that is hardly the Telegraph's style…

I'm so over this crap! I want to support a football team, not have to be involved in some sort of who dunnit soapie. Whoever the hell it was, thank you (and the idiots in the media) very much for destabilizing our team and ruining our 2014 season. Despite all the injuries, I believe that we still had a good shot at making the finals and performing well this year and then all this BS surfaced, virtually putting the final nail into the coffin of our season.

So thanks so much to you all - the newspaper scum, Tallis, Mayer, the stupid Board members and the snitch who can't keep his mouth shut - you certainly know how to kick a team when it's down. I'd hate to be stuck in a trench with any one of you, A..holes!

Who is he talking about?

Logically it would be the one who tipped Phil Rothfield off in the first place. If true, Rothfield had no qualms or ethics in making it a big news story for his paper. However, going on his past form it is most likely not true and Rothfield is trying to dish up dirt. Either way it doesn't say much for Rothfield and his gutter tactics.
