I really rated Heighno tonight, got really involved and actually hit the line hard. I reckon he's coached to run at markers and hit and spin and pussyfoot at the line. But the last two weeks I've really noticed him being more damaging at the line. I know his metres haven't been updated but that's pretty impressive with what's listed above if it's close.

Also really like Moors's impact of the bench, I've always thought he was really slow or maybe just not that fit. But the last few games he's really impressed me. Noticed a lot of 1%'ers in his game. Good fend and pulls a lot of players in to get him down also.

I have to say I thought Heighington did look good tonight too, got the quick PTB regularly which he's never able to do.

I read someone from Penrith on another forum saying that Moors would probably come good in 2012 but once he did he would be very good. That guy knows lol.

Heighno has really come on after a poor 12 months. Good on you old boy.

Thanks Willow,

Good on ya CW! Welcome back. If Heighno shines, we win the comp - it happened in 2005!

No Benji, no win. Looked more confident and purposeful tonight, stepped up when the game was there to be taken. And the three-quarters did better than I had expected at supporting him.

Leave Liam at 5/8, but tell him to forget about milking penalties - it cost us 6 points.

I've criticised him all year but he really delivered tonight. If he plays like that every week, i have no complaints.

It's amazing what happens when he runs at gaps in the line rather than straight at markers.

The amazing thing out of those stats for me was that our worst 3 defenders were Farah, Fults and Gareth. Very unusual for them.

Heighno and Koro were great as their stats show.

Benji has returned his best stats in 3 months.

29 missed tackles.
Not bad when you consider it was 18 missed tackles in the first 15mins.

Hieghno for mine has been a much better player since he came back from injury has been pushing through the line a lot more and defending like he was at his best. Also looks to have bulked up a bit which to mine has helped him

Benji and Blair greatly improved in missed tackles. Hopefully they can get to 0 next week
I think Ellis got caught out at least when Moi Moi made his break but you could see his injury stopping him even turning around in a hurry

Moors filled in For Ellis on the right edge when he went of and looked good. Was hard to contain. He can genuinally play prop or wider equally as good.

The problem with junior moors is he just doesent work hard enough in defence 3 tackles again tonight and it's not just alone off it's the reason he hasn't kicked on

Some really good stats but Blair and Ellis were pretty poor out there.

Our starting props are weapons. Galloway adds so much to the team - he is pure grunt.

Ellis being this "great defender" is a myth. He hits hard but ALOT of the time especially when a bit of footwork is used Ellis is left clutching at air

Now back to my hiatus

What the stats don't show is how long it was taking Blair to get back in the defensive line or come back into the attack. He never hangs in the ruck area in in attack always out wide where he was guaranteed not to get the ball. An absolute bluger.

It must be getting close to him losing his spot in the run on squad at the very least. Another poor performance.

6 missed tackles to Moltzen and constantly out of position in defence. He is a disaster to watch. Good sides will exploit this in games to come. He is the teams biggest liability (and that includes Blair).

Agree with the thoughts on Heighno. He's really lifted his game and making a good contribution.

I think Ayshford really stepped up last night in defence. Parra were offloading at will at one stage there and then Blake made some big one one tackles where he picked them up and dumped them on their back in classical style. It was inspirational and lifted the whole teams defence for the remainder of the game.

And Utai. He's had his critics this season. Too slow, too small, suspect under the high ball and all that, but he wouldn't be far behind Woods and Ryan for the players player this season. You get the same dedication and determination from him every week. Big thumbs up for the recruitment there.

Benji, much better with options from body's in motion and his last tackle plays were a gazillion times better than his last two outings.

In Moltzens defence he did make a great tackle on, I think a run away Fui Fui. Alot of fullbacks would fall off that tackle.
