Rochow needs to start punching out some more metres and getting into good 1-1 position against smaller halfbacks etc….49m is not great. I actually dont mind him but our edge metres always seems to be a concern considering how many minutes they play.
Otherwise good spread of work across the team.

I just think Aloiai offers so much more as an edge player. In attack and defence I think he has it over Rochow

Those stats look much better and so did the team. Well done to the players who really lifted for a must win game.

Much better contribution from the Pack…

Wish we could still get minutes played Willow....I was surprised how long both Packer and Matulino were off the field...

Yeah I was wondering the same thing.

I thought they were on for the first 20, then on for the last 10.

That’s a good 60 minute rest!

The team seems to go much better when both these guys are on the field.

Maybe worth bringing Packer off the bench either side of half time and rotate with Matulino or vice versa?

I thought Sue had a good game, apart from that penalty he gave he was putting a dent on the cowboys defence and had put a good fend on Taumalolo.

Completions also back where the should be..

Great team win...

I miss last year's stats format terribly.

Found em..and some updated M..

8\. Packer: 93 metres in attack, 8 runs, 19 tackles (41 Minutes) 103m

9\. Taylor: 9 metres in attack, 1 run, 23 tackles (41 Minutes) 8m

10\. Matulino: 122 metres in attack, 13 runs, 29 tackles (49 Minutes) 143m

11\. Lawrence: 113 metres in attack, 13 runs, 23 tackles (79 Minutes) 132m

12\. Rochow: 49 metres in attack, 8 runs, 29 tackles (49 Minutes) 59m

13\. Eisenhuth: 65 metres in attack, 8 runs, 37 tackles (62 Minutes) 74m

14\. Twal: 78 metres in attack, 11 runs, 28 tackles (41 Minutes) 85m

15\. Liddle: 45 metres in attack, 4 runs, 16 tackles (47 Minutes) 59m

16\. MCK: 60 metres in attack, 7 runs, 18 tackles (46 Minutes) 73m

17\. Sue: 93 metres in attack, 9 runs, 12 tackles (33 Minutes) 93m

A fairly even rotation for the Props minutes wise..I thought Sue and Twal did a terrific job in tandem…playing most of their time together...

Still a long way to go, we shouldve won by 24, ref and other factors come into play…but the fact is it was anyones game for most of the 80 despite imo us being clearly all over them...defense still has a lot of work, tackle breaks disappointing, we nearly snatched defeat from victory

Liddle has clearly improved since last season. He’s all class. Fast, great vision, tough and an excellent passer.

Does Benji go to ISP once Reynolds returns or do one of them play a bit of 9 in interchange w Liddle?

Where did you get the stats from Geo ??

Looks like the Fantasy stats …..Brooks 143 metres sounds closer to the mark as well

Not complaining as it was a good win and most did a good job but….

Need the "Huth" and Rochow to go into "bending the line class" with Pakolino.

The "Huth" would be hard pressed to break the skin off a bread and butter pudding.

Take out MCK put Benji on the bench and J Rey to 5/8 and that’s the best team we can field imo

MCK has been one of the best the last few weeks. His impact has been impressive

Not going against that but I don’t think you can cut anyone else from the team, and J Rey needs to play

You could cut Marshall?

Metres run by our Forwards Russ..

BTW Eisenhuth was all over Taumalolo all night..2 sides to the game…really nullified him...

I don't want to see Reynolds until he's 200% fit and played at least 2 games in reggies first

ur 100% right last time he played he was stuffed after 10 min, needs 3-4 games in ISP before he can play NRL.

I just think Aloiai offers so much more as an edge player. In attack and defence I think he has it over Rochow

rochow is a defender and a dam good one, yes his attack is below par but he makes up with his huge work rate. aloiai needs to lift his involvement and his game time to become a strating forward.

Still don't get it Geo - sorry 93 metres in attack and 103 metres in what?

I saw that he was owning Taumalolo in defence and did a great job.

However I figure for a big guy (understand too much defence burns some of the gas) he doesn't make many metres, I am putting it down to technique and I am sure he could learn of Packer and Mats. That would only make him a much more valuable player. Same with Rokko.

Brooks made about 90 metres in one run. He was on fire last night.
