All the big deal surrounds these two idiots ... my question is what about those two little darlings that had no problem throwing there groupie legs open in the first place .There lies a bigger issue IMO !

There's nothing wrong with the girls having sex. There's nothing wrong with the players having consensual sex. There's something very wrong with people attending a school as a person in authority and then having sex with a student they meet.

I think that's where the line is crossed.
A teacher, priest, etc can't sleep with a student or some one in their care.

Not saying these 2 geniuses are on that level but as members visiting a community and actively meeting women under aged 18... is very wrong.

Personally don't think these fellas who are early mid 20s should be meeting any girls younger than them... what, can't they take care of a woman their own age? Sus.

Mate, when something happens with 2 adults and 2 kids, it's the adults who are meant to be the responsible ones.

The integrity unit needs to investigate and if it is found that these 2 professionals visited a school and then hooked up with students for sex afterwards they need to be suspended from all NRL without pay for a minimum of 12 months.
I usually don’t criticise other posters for their opinions but if anyone can’t see how this was wrong and predatory, then they need to take a look at themselves.

How about the players thinking with the head upstairs rather than the one beneath the belt buckle? They are paid professionals, how about acting like it?

A few assumptions here in both posts..there has been no complaints ..no charges have been laid..no police investigation..knowing young kids these days could have well have been a massive x-box session...

The players are extremely stupid and have brought the game into disrepute by there actions they need to be sanctioned but if we have learnt anything from our very own Josh Reynolds case best not to go off half-cocked...

Not insinuating anything happened as such, but I hardly doubt it was for an X-Box session. Either way the optics are not good. The second line of my post stands irrespective of whatever else precedes it. That doesn't just apply to these two, it applies to all players.

The way it's reported, it seems like they did the wrong thing
I have two daughters and I would not be happy if they were in this situation
But a few questions need to be asked

1 Did the players invite these girls back with the intention of having sex or was it another reason
Eg: to give them a signed jersey for instance

2 Did they actually have sex with them

3 if they invited a few guys back to there room for what ever reason, would this be in the media

4 regardless of the outcome, a suspension is warranted for putting the spotlight on the NRL for all the wrong reasons
It's not helping the Nrl's negotiating power with the next airing rights

It’s about power dynamics . It can be argued in court as rape. . If one or more persons in any relationship has a significant power , perceived or otherwise , than that can be taken down a very sinister and dark path. Not saying I agree at all , just how it looks , and how the girls parents if they are under 18 , can really start to kick up a real stink .

There’s an instagram conversation basically throwing Okunbor under the bus. He’s going to have a spell I reckon .

Hmmmm, so best not to go off half cocked into a massive x-box session.

Edit; Both actions seem to be wrong, though if one or both have direct links to a school visit, then that would be predatory behaviour and should be dealt with very harshly.

The Bulldogs should be in for punishment as well.

He did say could have been...

So punishment, I think a suspension/cancellation of contract for the two players, plus a sizable fine for the club. This has already hurt the club losing their main sponsor, (they currently have none,) need to hit them hard again to force them to pull their players into line.

Bulldogs are rebuilding their roster and culture right now, they need to fix this now or let it linger like Penrith and continue sucking for years.

It's amazing how self-destroying "the family club" can be at times. You can't let them travel, you can't let them stay locked up in a hotel... they'll just find a way to get nude and get caught.

The media keep banging on about the girl/s being of legal age, but geez it's a mere technicality - 17 years old is cutting it pretty fine! And picking her up after a visit to her school no less.. It's a really bad look no matter how you spin it.

What sore of idiots do you have here at the Bulldogs?
We only sign the very best idiots.

I imagine Mark O'Neill is making sure the Parra players know what's right and wrong.

You can create images of being an inclusive sport all you like in a bid to attract ‘new’ supporters and players but until the NRL clean up its own backyard with strong, consistent, transparent and far reaching discipline for players who soil the brand it will never attract new supporters.
Also, I think it’s about time the players association gets on board with the NRL in a bid to work together in demanding higher behaviour expectations of players.

The amount of crap that’s gone down under Greenberg’s watch is unbelievable!
Another reason why Greenberg has to be sacked !

Bingo...grown men have no business being around underage girls.

Bulldogs did the right thing in standing them down.

No argument from me. I’ll sign the petition!

Players association will probably just remain silent. It doesn't involve more money for them.
Unless they really cared about the game
