Broncos management will be rubbing their hands together. This is perfect for them really. His asking price - or maybe not asking price, but his negotiating power has just fallen somewhat and they get to be the carer in difficult times. Mum will be forever greatfull to them.

Yeah, money talks in the halls of power, so I reckon that through the rich benefactors at the donkeys, he is getting the type of diplomatic assistance that the rest of us can only dream of.

Me thinks he's offered a substantial payout to the victim in order to secure his freedom. Win/win for both. Let's say a weeks wages for the thug a lifetime of income for the victim. And the broncos say next ti zilch. Nothing to see here. It couldn't have been too bad if Fifita can't remember :face_with_rolling_eyes:. NRL won't act too harshly either probably.

No but I am sure Toddy will give him a reference if he wants one.

Didn't take long for the donkeys money man to get him out of jail.

Wonder how much money is in the bag.

Any bribes directly or indirectly taken should be automatically added to the salary cap, unless of course its redirected directly Into Todd’s orif___....................I mean office 😁

Just heard that Fifita is back, he read from a script which was awfully predictable. Broncos deny paying up to get him off but around $30,000 Aussie has changed hands in the agreement. He also denies anything too sinister happened. Who knows? But it's bog average that Brisbane can get away with this "non payment" Integrity unit apparently satisfied that he's served enough punishment iwith 3 days in a Balinese gaol.

Turdberg is happy and the status quo remains the same.Business as usual at the NRL

as per an earlier poster, the 30K should absolutely be coming off the salary cap - not the player salary as that can't be easily traced, but hey its the Bronco's so......

they make the statement of it coming out of the player's pocket like he's doing a favor to someone, not to bail himself out of gaol.....what a guy

The Broncos have conceded David Fifita was forced to pay for his freedom, after he was locked up following an altercation with a Bali nightclub bouncer.

Haha yea right and then he wrote his own scripted reply to the media. Everyone but the NRL integrity unit and toddy knows that Brisbane have just paid for fifitas get out jail free card. will there be an investigation if he suddenly decides to stay at the broncs for less money?
