Now it's been revealed Okunbor asked for Topless pics from the girl via snapchat.

If she's under 18 is that classed as child porn?

I believe so.

No, it's not. The child has to be under the age of 16, and then determining the actual age of the child, if their identity is not known, is then debatable. Unfortunately I've worked more of those cases than I care to remember.

This guys Mrs is gonna be so mad.....
I noticed he deactivated his IG.

He's probably got bigger concerns than that at the moment...

Oh no doubt...

Nothing criminal tho unless she's under aged, right?

But losing his career, income, reputation tarnished.
Never underestimate a woman scorn though.

If it's defacto he could lose a lot.
They own a home? Cya.
His super? Cya.
Any assets? Cya.

Might not be as big a concern as you think.... but depending on the circumstance, he could lose more than his girlfriend.

These are not acts of stupidity. These players made decisions to have sex with 17 year old school girls. This smacks of entitlement because as NRL players they are treated differently and in many cases looked up to by the community including impressionable girls. It is for this reason their behaviour needed to be beyond reproach. Instead we have them trawling for sex from perhaps naive country girls. Just a coincidence these things arise consistently at a few clubs? I believe these two should go for a year and the NRL undertake a review of the culture at the Bulldogs. I ask were these players suitable repß to interact with school girls? Who decided they were?

Why should the NRL investigate their culture. Make it the clubs responsibility and cost. If they do a good job, hey we're all winners, if not they can stay in the headlines.

Well humanity is done for if you need to educate people on why it’s not smart to seduce high school girls when you are a famous footballer (let alone at all).

****I have an 18 yo daughter who is a moron**** but I doubt she would ever do anything that stupid. Those girls are extremely stupid at best.

Those guys though are pretty screwed up individuals to go for school girls period and in that situation in my opinion it's really bad.

I don't know what you do though. How can you not know better ?

Probably shouldn't but gee that made me laugh Earl...Dad of the Year..

Thanks for the compliment. It's not easy. 3 kids. 2 boys. 1 moron. She is a very pretty girl and you can probably guess looks nothing at all like me. That is about the only positive thing I can state though.

Mate I read this earlier and laughed because my 18 and 21 year old kids had left our house like a disaster zone and I was ready to launch into them.
2 hours later my 21 rolls in having a huge fight with his Aunty over the phone. He is distressed but is holding firm on an issue he believes in. I listen. He gets off the phone. Tear in eye. Frustrated. I step in. “Want to talk mate?” I say. And we do. My anger gets put on a back shelf and I realise my kids still need guidance and are still finding their way.
Mate, I’m sure your daughter is the same. Hold her tight!

With all the negative headlines. Thought this was worth sharing.

In a week of another bad NRL headline, it’s worth noting a true gentleman act. Titans players at captains run just moved their own tent into the car park so a fan in a wheelchair was protected from the rain while she watched them train.

I wouldn't trust the Bulldogs to investigate itself. Commissioning a review of the club's culture by an NRL appointed consultant ensures a transparency.

After reading that story involving Okunbor..... ive now come to understand what the "Doggie" is that Bulldogs fan exploit all the time...........

Yeah, well that's sort of the point I was making. I'd be happy to see them fail in their investigation and just keep making headlines for the wrong reasons.

My son said there was talk at his footy training of a 3rd player from the dogs that could possibly be in trouble. He didn't know anymore than that. I'm assuming someone was just speculating but has anyone else heard of anything

You can create images of being an inclusive sport all you like in a bid to attract ‘new’ supporters and players but until the NRL clean up its own backyard with strong, consistent, transparent and far reaching discipline for players who soil the brand it will never attract new supporters.
Also, I think it’s about time the players association gets on board with the NRL in a bid to work together in demanding higher behaviour expectations of players.

Absolutely mate. This is the hypocrisy I've been referring to, with the women in league round and all their posturing and chest beating. This rubbish needs to be fixed up first BEFORE those sorts of initiatives can be taken as serious efforts fpr change and not just a pretense.

What seriously is the NRL supposed to do about a few DHs throwing their doodles about?

It would be like saying the CEO of Westpac is responsible for someone sticking their hand in the till at the Stanmore branch.

Stanmore doesn't have a bank, let alone a Westpac branch. Wish they did it would make my life easier!

All jokes aside, the NRL and ARLC need to step up immediately and improve their player social education program, it's obviously not cutting through and it's not making a difference.

More punitive measures are required. Suspend them both for a year and see how quickly the remainder learn.

I agree, the NRL/ARLC has to be harsh and set a clear rule, but I also think that if they don't improve their education program this will continue to be an ongoing issue.

The amount of players that have been sucked into fandom and have made terrible career ending mistakes is huge.

Education is the key.

If these guys are immature dills @Leck, education aint gonna help em.

Where I think education programs will definitely help is with our juniors coming through the ranks. They need to understand that they represent their club and the fans, they are constantly in the public eye and this sort of behaviour will have a devastating affect on their career.

Lol, mate...

I'm gonna leave this alone but as some one already said.... the adults are the ones in the wrong.

Pretty stupid of these guys to go and cheat on their partners whilst they're away with school girls..

Ok Demps you seem to know a lot,if the players were Lebos you would be wearing the shoe on the other foot....the players have crossed the line of whats expected of their behaviour,,,but to think these 2 girls are completely innocent and are very impressionable at their age,,please they both could have said NO but chose to do what they did because of immaturity and stupidy ….the road goes both ways...and if you read my post I do not condone these 2 imbesiles actions they are in the public eye 24/7 and work within a multi million dollar industry …

sidenote...I work in the hospitality industry, clubs and hotels...I can tell you the amount of fake IDs that girls and guys get made up to come into a premises to ogle over NRL players or try a buy drinks to impress either sex and mingle nowing full well its illegal, will astound you....to tell me the adults are at fault really shows how narrow minded you really are ...

They also need to understand the follow on effect their behaviour has and look at the big picture. I have a mate who works for a NRL club and it effects many departments e.g. corporate/member sponsorships and all the months of work that goes down the toilet when these clowns think they are God's and can do whatever they like.
