I saw it, it's a bunch of bogans (no offence Cultured Bogan) standing around being tough in the middle of a suburban street. Two guys are squaring off looking like they want to have a fight. Some other guy jumps in and kicks one of the guys, and I guess they're saying Cody is the guy who kicked.

I don't know what the police do with video clips like this, if anything, but for mine I hate macho street violence, and wish that sort of behaviour could be heavily penalised to stamp it out. I'm not saying Cody should get in massive trouble, I'm saying gangs of hoodlums who wander around the streets terrorising people should get into trouble. I'm not even saying that's what is in the video, it's probably not, it just made me think of that.

For Cody, well, if it is him, he needs to stop behaving so stupidly, but I doubt it'll affect his football career. If he was being blackmailed, going to the cops was a clever way to stop being blackmailed, because you can bet the media outlets paid for the video instead and the person stopped bugging Cody for money.

I have had enough of bonehead footy players, in years past I've tried to defend them but they're now beyond defending.

If it's not violence against women it's drugs or fighting bouncers at nightclubs or stabbing people at church or threatening and assaulting families on alcohol fuelled rages or coward attacks of stomping on someone's head or just total disrespect for the game and everyone involved by filming themselves deliberately doing something they know they shouldn't be doing then putting it on social media.

But to the NRL consensual sex is way worse, my mind boggles.
