He needs to get what is coming , anything or any one who thinks about children in this way is sick , I don’t care if he needed drugs , I don’t care what his reason is , you don’t ## with children end of story , I see and understand young’s input but , not good enough , lock him up

just on my post , I want to make sure all understand I am not saying he did anything to any child , i Just despise anyone thinking this way let alone doing anything to kids ,

Statement from St George Illawarra Dragons
The St George Illawarra Dragons are aware of a letter from Chairman Craig Young on club letterhead supporting Brett Finch in his ongoing court case.
This statement was provided in a personal capacity and was not supported or approved by the club.
"It was an error in judgement to put this statement on club letterhead," Young said.
"I was asked to provide a letter of support to a family friend who I believe made a serious mistake but is a fundamentally decent person.
"I should not have connected the club to this matter and would like to apologise to members, fans, sponsors and all other stakeholders for any distress caused."

Josh Curran charged by NSW Police for hitting a 16 year old at a night club on grand final day. The 16 year old lost two front teeth.
Might ask what a 16 year old is doing in a nightclub ?

Don't think any reasonable person would characterise these crimes as a 'mistake'. Nor do I think a person who commits these crimes can also be a 'fundamentally decent' person. You can support them despite their crimes and speak to their achievements and personal traits beyond those crimes, but characterising him that way is not right. To have brought his club into that mess is awful. He should be sacked.
Are you suggesting that it’s common place for 16 year olds to be in nightclubs, if so , I rest my case , not mature enough not to get snotted

Yes, but they legally are not allowed in. They choose to go in then they should not be able to take action against anyone in there.
Curran should be able to sue the licensee for any loss for letting a possible crap bag in there and serving him grog.
Responsible service of alcohol has come a long way since the 80s

Exactly,hope he gets a good lawyer( no, not Bryson’s unless he’s agreed to join us) coz I think there is a possible legal loophole there ( as per Harvey’s comment).
