I suspect Tagataese will pop up elsewhere then

Would love that to be Wests Tigers..

Doubt we have the money. Knights or Warriors would be my guesses if he's going anywhere.

We would probably have to shuffle Tim Grant along to be able to afford him (and to justify spending more money in the prop department).

Warriors? Gee whiz if they aren't spending more on their roster that what we are then I would be absolutely gobsmacked. They seem to have an open-ended chequebook. RTS, Isaac Luke, Shaun Johnson and now Foran would have to take up nearly all of the salary cap on their own in a realistic world you would think. Throw in Matulino, Hoffman, Vatuvei, Lolohea etc. They must have some mighty fine 3rd party agreements over the ditch.
The NRL would also be super desperate for the Warriors to finally win a premiership very soon so they are probably happy to turn a blind eye to a bit of "brown paper bagging".

Knights because they have a need and they have money. Warriors because Taga would be a starting prop there, he was born there, they have deep TPA's and they could easily move on Lolohea if they needed to free up some coin.

We need to sign ET and a winger as a minimum. Not a world beater but someone like Anthony Don or Daniel Tupou.

Parra have signed Frank Pritchard (1 year) and Suiai Matagi (2 years). Frank was good before he left but from what I've read he was hot and cold in ESL. Matagi is a good 4th/5th prop - he certainly runs hard.

The Parra pack will have a bit of power in attack next year with the likes of Vave, Pritchard, Ma'u, Nathan Brown and Matagi.

Hmm Frank Pritchard is 33yo , good luck with that one eels

Btw Danny Wicks just retired a couple of months after signing a 2 year extension

Is their much left on the market worth grabbing bar ET who we hopefully will retain ??

It's hard to know because some players are just re-signed without any announcement or fanfare. I haven't seen anything confirmed in relation to Tagataese (although talk he has re-signed with the Sharks), Taufua (although Manly will probably keep him after the Matai retirement), Luciano Leilua (likely to be Dragons or Dogs) or Jacob Gagan (not sure he counts as "worth grabbing").

At this stage I think it's either looking at ESL or waiting to see who spills onto the market before 2017.

Potentially they are all available.
You just pick who you want and do a deal. Easy.

Look at Siro. Contracted for 2 years here. Manly wanted him, talked deal and duddarrr!

I must say it does help if you have plenty of dosh available.

Pretty much, there's currently over 350 NRL players who are available. The question is can we entice any of them here?

There will be some horse trading of contracted players going on, always is. Our trouble is we need to get a club or two interested in a couple of our players so we can free up cap space and to my knowledge nobody is knocking on the door

Looking at what we have signed so far Jamal could be good value if he hits his old form , the guy from Cronulla is back up , then we look at what we let go and I can see that the club is maybe looking to lock up Teddy , Mosses , Woods , Brooks , ET , this would be a solid group for other players to look at coming over to us in 2018 , 2017 I think the club is thinking we missed out on the semis by one game , probably droped 3 games we should have won so play out 2017 with only Jamal as the new guy who should add to our defence and attack , then if we do grab a top 8 other quality players may take us serious and look to move over , we should have some funds ready to spend , and we will remove more players not up to top grade standards freeing up a bit more cash , we are probably only 2 good quality players of top 4 , Hard running back rower , and a player who can kick goals / play wing or centre , we should also look at 2017 with no Taylor Farrah rubbish , Sirro gone so that's Finished , and if the boys are all on the same page we will shake it up again .

Hope the guys train the house down in the off season

Your post may have been good , but I could not work it out without the correct punctuation.

Agree with what you saying except on the ET issue.

He was a Penrith reserve grade player, he was good when he first come across and then i thought his form dropped towards the end of the season. i think he is good player to have but i don't think other players will be signing with us because he is here.

I do agree that the others however are a lure.
