Hmm…Looks like both Ava and Sue had a quiet game tonight. Wonder how long each was on the field for?

Neither player got many minutes tonight.

I don't think the stats show all that he does. He reads the plays of the opposition and assists with organizes our D. In a young side having his experience helps.

Our d was terrible tonight though?? Sick of all these excuses.

Very few poor players tonight. yes we made the odd mistake, but we fought back from these. We played a very motivated, desperate team whose form has been building in a hostile environment.

Unfortunately, the poor Anasta performance is a recurring theme.

Anasta is there for the season - as he should be.

He is costing us plenty and giving Brooks heaps - which is why he is there.

Have we got to go with this Anasta bashing all season as we went through with Blair.
Oh! and the Rowdy bashing is boring as well. He is there all season as well.

We know the few who have agendas with these to players, so every time you post - it is a given that the poison for these two comes out. we get that so you don't even have to say it. :deadhorse:

Let us move on and talk about something relevant.

Chris Lawrence played very well when he was carrying defenders every run, enjoyed watching that, he's improving

I think Ava got hooked soon after the tagatese try. His first hit on him so close to the line was absolutely terrible. A very average game from him overall. Hope he learns from it and comes back stronger.

Need to find a way to get Simona more involved. Would gladly swap he and Lawrence around tbh

No way. Tim hasnt learnt to run the right lines yet. Great in broken play but he still has a lot to learn.

The other amazing stat for the Tigers , two back rowers crack 100 metres

On the updated stats all three backrowers made >100m.
But Paterson and Thompson each played 80 minutes and Blair 70 so that helps those stats.

I think moving Austin to 6 and get Anasta out of there…that would generate more attacking options on the right side.

Rowe made 113 metres in attack. I thought he is gaining confidence with each new game under his belt. I like the way he was able to catch the high ball and started to chime into the attack and able to start running the ball. He has a fairly good game. If he can continue doing this, he will continue to improve and to gain confidence. Potter has the right approach in breeding the rookie. Hope he can continue to do that against the Broncos and St George. When he goes back to the NSW cup, he will have gain lots of confidence and will improve his game out of sighte at the NSW level.
