Tough night at the office Brooks. Our edge players let him down. He was constantly exposed one on one against Hurrell and others.

Too true.
That's why guys like Beau Scott are worth their money.

Sue in for Lovett next week. Ava needs to get more minutes over Buchanan.

All these stats aside, if we hung onto the ball we would've won tonight. The effort is always there, the execution not as much unfortunately.

NRL website. Their stats are always a bit out though.

What was up with Avas minutes tonight? Felt like he played about 20.. Bit of a waste.

Ava more metres than Buchanan in probably half the time.
When Lodge is back we'll look a lot more balanced. Sue for Lovett, Lodge for Buchanan, Akauola/Funaki on to the bench.

Our bench isn't really working. I don't understand why halatau not getting more game time. Not sure if sue is getting enough time. We need better players than ava and buchanan taking up a spot. Need more depth…

Also pretty sure half time on fox sports had us with, 16 missed tackles warriors 3

Parra obviously think so.

Speaking of stats and a little off topic, Fox are reporting that Manly have never won a wooden spoon. Could finally be their turn …........

Did you want Halatau to play eighty? Halatau comes on to spell Farah and when Farah comes back on, he replaces Lovett who goes off, so Halatau and Lovett both end up playing 50mins.

Probably unfairly critical of Ava given his limited game time, but I agree with Buchanan however Lodge will replace him soon enough.

Kept hearing how Woods was dominated tonight… Yeah... Like I've said he has made unbelievable his normal standard and now expectations are insane on him.

to be honest, if he doesnt make 200m and 40 tackles we should probably just drop him. i think he could learn a lot in NSW Cup or at another club. :unamused:
