Player to the Broncos

Yeah you're right Tigerdave, this is getting out of control. Humphries and Sheens need to call a press conference RIGHT NOW to wave a wand over ALL of these rumours.

I am betting Humphries is frantically dotting i's crossing t's to bring these rumours to reality.

I am willing to bet there will be an explosion of information, good & bad over the next few weeks.
 
Yeah probs. But really this is exactly the reason that mid-season signings are absurd. This is really messing with our team. There should be two transfer windows imo ala the premier league.

Yeah the whole thing is bloody ridiculous, they come out with with a press release thing to quash those rumours about someone cutting someone else's grass, but this? no they are happy for this to fester.

The fans would like to know….

What is happening with Lui? If he is indeed moving on, then there's not much point in having him at half when we have a perfectly fine halfback in Moltzen or is Moltzen going?

What is happening with this whole Blair thing, are we losing Bryce and Liam for him?

What is happening with Rhino? I just can't imagine the club letting him go.

What is happening with Fifita? who, is probably one of the best young props running around.

What is happening with Gareth? is he homesick? I thought he was thinking about staying here permanently?

On the back of last year, this year was going to be full of promise, so far, it's been nothing but disappointment and it doesn't appear to be improving, but indeed, getting worse with all these player movement rumours. Adding to that, there does appear to be something very amiss with the players, which only adds weight to these rumours that something is going on and people aren't happy.

Based on all this, on the surface, the club appears to be woefully mismanaged.

i've always rated him Watto. If you wish I can go back and find all my posts from early 2009 when I touted him as Benji's future replacement, months before he was anywhere near first grade :wink:

ftr, i've always thought Lui is a 6, not a 7\. Funnily enough so is Benji and Moltzen. The Broncos are looking for a 6 so why not him?
 
Moltz and Lui are completely different players and would make an ideal halves pairing

Very good point.

I believe that the best halves pairings at the club are:

6\. Lui
7\. Moltzen
or
6\. Marshall
7\. Miller

I know what I would prefer.
 
I think we had a

6\. Lui
7\. Moltzen

pairing in a trial last year and Lui killed it at 5/8\. It was a very good combo in the game, even if it wad only a trial.

Lui and Moltzen as the halves, they would have more traffic coming their way than Parramatta rd at peak hour. We would have a great touch team if nothing else
 
Lui is a 6, he'll never get it at Tigers as long as Sir Benji is around.
It logically makes the most sense, in addition to that his best friend / lover Fifita is also moving on. So it would appear logical.
Moltz has just resigned after been told to look around, so maybe the management are in the know?

crouching tiger mentioned in the blair/gibbs thread that there are more players on the way out, including a player from our backline who was in the 17 last monday.

would make sense to be lui or moltzen, given who is leaving the broncos
 
I have to admit to feeling some guilty excitement at the prospect of either Lui or Moltzen leaving. I really think our future is Jacob Miller and have been concerned at the prospect of a young halfback in front of him impeding him and him going to another club.
 
It wont be moltzen. This is what i think all the drama is about. Benji is very close to sheens and they are getting their way. But farah is the captain and not getting much of a say or his opinion is not being listened to. Blair is a kiwi and benji would want him. Moltzen lives with benji so they are obviously close. Get my drift??

Yes I do. Some good points. Just throwing it out there, but perhaps Blair is moving in with Benji and Moltzen?
