Players going backwards - Senior players must be in the gun

If Sheens had the courage to drop players who underperformed. Then these blokes might actually play as if they cared, as if they were pasionate about what they do, as if any other person with a job works to get promoted or to just hang on to their job.
We need fear in this side.
We have seen, countless times this year, coaches drop players who are usually top performers. Players like Jennings, Luke etc.
If we had to actually play to keep our spot then maybe this side may be going somewhere. But at this rate I can't even look past the negatives to see anything come good of this team.

You can point fingers at players etc etc and I agree with the observations.

But for so many to be under-performing, what is the common demoninator? I'll tell you. Coaching staff.

Good coaches bring out the best in their players, just take a look around the top end of the comp.

Absolutely Barra! Look what Dessie has done, in less than a season, with players like Inu, Barba, Reynolds and Morris to name a few. What Sheens has managed to cultivate over 10 years is a probus club, not a football club - everybody is all matesy and pally and community conscious, but can't play football for crap!
