Today

Moltz , Ayshford and Chris lawrence all MIA or when they were in it , we're not good .

Completion rate was terrible .

Who needs to improve ?

Backs lacked combination today - Benji took some bad options and there was too much sideways play. The combinations will come and the halves will get better with game play. The players you mention are very good players and will come good. Don't panic yet.

Moltzen is struggling as no7, Farah was not great so of course the teams structure is going to suffer. They got very lucky and jagged a win. Next week they will have to lift 100%

Strangely I thought they all played pretty good bar the 6 - 7 & 9….and 3 (Blake)
The guys you want firing all were pretty poor.
Everyone else was good.
Bell...I thought he went real good, eased my concerns
Humble....looks creative and slick
Blair - not bad
Fulton was awesome, as was Groat and our wingers terrific

Agree with you tigergirlz. Combinations need work - hopefully it'll sort itself out by next Friday or we'll be in a world of pain

Guys I actully thought big sauce went a bit MIA today, and when he did appear it was usually as second receiver!

Robbie's effort in defence looked to sap him of energy in attack and there were a couple of times direction was lost in attack which took me back to late last year with some poor attacking options from our key play makers.

i think they pretty much all went MIA, after Teddy's injury. Just like the team did last year against Canberra when Rowdy did his hip injury. - I myself lost contration just watching the game today after the injury, as all i could think about was the poor kid. Must be very hard on the players to see that infront of them, when they know just about all the little plays they have been practising at training includes Teddy etc.

At least this is round 1 Cunno.

Correct Tigergirlz, it is early but they will have to improve a lot next Friday night in terms of attacking options up against manly.

I reckon we looked pretty good until we lost tedessco and Moltz in the same 2 minute period, we never got back our fluency even when Moltz returned.

The heat prob sapped our minds and we lost our timing.

Our centres who will be our strength were both well off today, but that will not be the case often this season.

I reckon far from our best but given the circumstances good to get the 2 points

As far as ball control goes I thought the Tigers were always going to struggle, they generally take a few weeks to get their act together given the style they play. Having said that, Molzten, Ayshford and Lawrence are all capable of far better than what they produced today. Give them time, they'll come good.

If Blake had taken the intercept before Best scored would he have been MIA, it's only the 1st round after all!.

Blake played the worst game I have ever seen him play EVER, he was awful in attack, and worse in defence, if he stayed in the line instead of going for the intercept they may not have scored anyway, but as you say, it is only Rnd 1 after all.

Im going to put it down to the wet sticky conditions, and the fact the grass needed a mow .Ill take the two first up under those conditions.

Not only did the grass need a mow, but the line markings were poor. While there's been some rain, the Club should be able to trim the grass and re-apply lines on a Sunday morning. Unprofessional
