Players off contract - other clubs

snowden, feleti mateo and jharral yow yeh
i think would be great signings..
snowden- a great workhorse would go good with the other forwards
yow yeh- kid has good heaps of speed and we still havnt even seen the best of him, give him a few years time
mateo- would be the dream lock for the tigers, benji would love to play with this bloke, them 2 would cause mayhem to any team!!!

Surely to get under the cap they will release a star or two. Guys like Finch, Lima, Hoffman and White would be on some good cash but not the dent needed to get under the cap. The tough calls will be when they will have to let go of a strike player or two like Slater, Inglis, Smith, Cronk or Blair. Most clubs have 2 top class players, not 5\. The cheaper blokes like Tolman, Nielsen, Hinchcliffe and Manu they are liekly to keep as they will have to re-build with new stars that attract the public back; so long as said players want to stay.

i think with 5 or 6 players taking up probably 2 million of the cap legitimatly players around the 200k mark will be the ones released hopefully we can snag a few eg Tolman, Hoffman and Lima would all be great. they will try and keep the core of the side with smith, inglis, slater cronk, blair and probably white. with the most of the rest of this weeks 17 having to be released. they can then fill the last 2.6 mil with 20 players giving around 100k each. so it sure will be interesting. but if we can only AFFORD one id go with Tolman the others are a lot older and he is awesome up front tough and a hard worker very similar to Gibbs with extra kick.

But i do think that we will see a lot more players from other clubs go as well after seeing the hard stance the Nrl has gone with and any slightly big breach could ruin the comp for them

Players I believe that should come to the Wests Tigers in 2011 should be Aiden Tolman! Fantastic young player with massive potential! Michael Gordon from the Panthers would be a handy back line player as he can kick goals as he only missed 4 goals in all 2009 for a percentage of 93.4!!! 57/61!!!

I wouldnt mind them 2 players either but flash gordon might not get a start if we have both tuqiri and tuiaki fit at the same time

I wouldn't mind if we sign any of these players: Garret Crossman, James Tamou, Ben Matulino, Trevor Thurling and Kade Snowden for the forwards and out of the backs Krisnan Inu, John Williams, Cooper Vuna and Jharl Yow Yeh. I think we are still one or two forwards short and an outside back short to have a good complete squad. I think halves we have enough depth to be one of the biggest threat especially with players getting experience this year.

any idea who is off contract for the tigers at the end of the yr

Josh Perry would be good at wests-tigers.
get Mini from roosters to be fullback, with Timmy Moltzen to be halfback

Forwards: Aiden Tolman (the next Ben Hannant) and Kade Snowden (very underated).
Backs: Yoh Yeh, Michael Gordon and Josh Hoffman (lot of potential, good young fullback and would be able to let Moltz play half).
back ups/bench utilities: Terrence Seu Seu and Anthony Watts.

Josh Dugan is going to test the open Market.. The guy is a superstar and although we would probably struggle to get him, we should be definately making a play…

I'd take Snowden, Inu and Mateo.

1\. Ryan
2\. Tuqiri
3\. **Inu**
4\. Lawrence
5\. Tuiaki
6\. Marshall
7\. Moltzen
8\. **Snowden**
9\. Farah
10\. Galloway
11\. Fulton
12\. Ellis
13\. Heighington

14\. Ayshford
15\. Gibbs
16\. Flanagan
17\. **Mateo**

Definitely worth a play for Dugan. We would not be the only ones that is for sure.

Josh Perry would be a good pickup. Haven't seen much of Tolman, but sounds like he has impressed many.

I would go after Snowden. If the sharks let him go they would be crazy.

IMO we should stay away from Inu and Mateo. Not consistent enough for my liking.

Ah, so he is… Just seen an article today about him rejecting a 3 year extension at the raiders cause he wants to test the open market and assumed it was for next season

I think we need 1 Domestic Prop and a seasoned Halfback.

Scott Logan or Kade Snowden would be ideal Domestic Props for the Tigers at an average price.

Scott Dureau wouldnt be that expensive for a 7 either…

Developing our 20's and NSW Cup players should still be a strong focus, especially with the NSW Cup Teams merging next year...

I'd rather Finch then Dureau… I honestly believe he would be the perfect player to have inside Marshall...
