Setu signed with roosters today so he wont be coming over

Thats been printed at least 3 or 4 times by the DT since mid March. As far as I know, he has still yet to sign with anybody. I haven't seen anything confirmed by the Roosters.

The Chooks very rarely announce signings?

I have Lima going to Canberra or Roosters at this stage…

How about Ben Matulino? Is he a prop? I know he has been killing it lately. Don't think Warriors will let this kid go elsewhere.

Damn…a second rower...we have plenty of cattlt in that department. Never the less...will still be a great asset in the very near future.

As for Flash..can believe that this one may get away...I bet the Panther fans will be totally pissed if this is the case...

We don't need Matulino or Gordon.

We need to get rid of Fitzhenry, Brown, and maybe even Cayless out of the top 25\. I'd even go as far to say as let Payten go to the ESL to get his superannuation. Yeah he's still going okay, but I think it's time we looked to the future and cement our forward pack together, and truth be told, he's probably the one who's gonna go first. Gibbs, Galloway, Ellis and Heighno are all on long term contracts, Dwyer is signed til 2011 or 2012 - he and Fifita need to be extended, Flanagan and Fulton should be kept around.

So yeah I'd be letting Brown, Fitzhenry, Cayless and Payten go.

Whats the go with Todd Payten for 2011.

Im sure the club will be loyal and give him another year if he wants (And can do) it.

We need to continue to instill a culture like this at the WT.

Intimidating Prop is what we need to partner A Fifita and build around

Out of all of those players i'd be chasing Brad Morrin hard and give him whatever he wants, he's the type of player we really need in our side pffft

Priority number one should be Kade Snowden, he`s a young prop that is starting to realise his potential. He`s got good size and plays aggressively, exactly what we need. Further to that Ashton Simms is another with size and aggression, he`s a bit clumsy at times, but no clumsier than Bryce Gibbs. Willie Mason should be the third addition to our forward pack, Willie wants to finish his career at a Sydney club, he and Brett Finch are best mates and I think they`d play their best football together. Brett Finch is our best option as a halfback as he`s a very good talker onfield and would offer some leadership that we are currently lacking. Finally to get some extra speed into our backline, Blake Ferguson is a superstar in the making who`s on the lookout for a new club and the obvious one is Michael Gordon who would also solve our goal kicking problems.

Snowden is th only one that interests me of those listed above.

Tigers should no longer be the point of last call for ageing stars. For me its no thanks to finch and mason types.

As for Ferguson - Someone who stabs his club in the back via media is not going to be loyal and committed beyond the Dollar.

I wish, but the salary cap will most likely prevent all that aye

With the Roosters signing Anthony Watts it would seem James Aubusson will be looking for another club.

If we are serious about carrying a utility back on the bench he would be a most astute pickup as he also covers backrow. Add to that he is a very fine hooker to serve as a replacement should Farah miss any games next season. For the right price of course

I can't fathom why they'd want Watts when they have Friend, Aubusson and Kouparitsas already…

Watt's offers alot more value than a back-up Hooker. Even though we have short memories of him last year and would love to scratch his eye's out, Anthony is a young player who could be anything if given the right development and discipline…

I could see Anthony playing 9, 13, 7 or 6 with maturity?!

His potential hasn't gone unnoticed, I believe he could be a real acquisition for any side. But, when you've got Carney, Pearce, Anasta, Friend, Kouparitsas and Aubusson it seems a waste to buy Watts unless he is going to be a walk up start, but they've got a full time half, two of the aforementioned specialise at pivot, three of them can play hooker, and a number of them can play in the second row.

Ben Matulino has looked very strong playing prop over the past month, he'd be someone I hope the club is speaking to.
