I don't go along with that the LIbs have shot themselves in the foot. Morrison is a very capable guy and communicator, though I dislike his policies and him. Shorten is essentially useless - just an insignificant mouthpiece.

Labor will pay the price for keeping a useless/toothless leader.

No way man Libs are cooked. All Labor need to do is hound them about not calling an election ad nauseum for as long as it takes until they call it.

The last 11 years has highlighted the flaws in the westminster electoral system,When it comes to the crunch the only people who have power is the governing party not the leader and not even remotely the voting public. It needs to change but it wont happen in my lifetime, The PM should come from the side which wins the election but we elect that person not the polies. The PM can not be voted out by his/her party by law during that term of government without a full disolution of parliament. It would be far from ideal but much better than the dogs breakfast we have now

I wonder if Morrison can last to the next election,
Although I think that Abbott wouldn’t be wanting to have to face the election when it probably will be a smash up for the Coalition.
I think he’d rather have Morrison be the sacrifice ,and then challenge after the Election ,
The Liberals seem like they are stupid enough to give Abbott and his ego another run.
If this wasn’t the people who make decisions which affect our lives,
It would make the funniest slapstick movie ever made,
These people are beyond incompetent,
Turnbull will be collecting his parliamentary pension, and the Commonwealth car card, and the keys to his free offices and secretary for life,
Probably , followed not long after by Morrison, **doesn’t it make you feel warm and fuzzy knowing that they get a golden handshake, even if they only serve a week, (as well as all the rest of their perks)**

It's disgusting and downright unjust that these guys keep getting paid once they retire, no matter how long they held the position, while millions of people in the country are struggling just to live from day to day. I honestly don't know how these lifelong payments can be justified by Australian society. What is wrong with people? It's the reason why not one of these politicians will ever be able to relate, or be of benefit, to anyone in the country other than the wealthy.

Morrison has to make it to an election next year, and there’s no gaurantee that will happen .
And now , there’s Abbott AND Dutton to cause trouble,
Even without that ,unless Morrison is superman(and he’s Certainly not that) he is going to be toast, along with a quite a few of the rats with him,
He’s just Turnbull 2
The only one who may have saved the ship was Bishop and they didn’t want a bar of her.

So would you go along with the WT coach being guaranteed contract tenure and can't be moved sideways or downwards - even if lost the support of the players' dressing room and board?

They have made Bill Shorten an electable alternative, by no means an easy feat.

Bit like turning Parramatta into a premiership threat and Moses into a possible Clive Churchill medallist

Now that you mentioned my cous Mitch you should read what this guy says about him. Is it too late to disown Mitch?

Let me start on the roster. Mitch Moses. What a ….... germ. Everything Tigers fans said about him was right. A toxic blister boil on Parra's already festered anus. We're stuck with him and his ...... uncle like herpes.

If during WW2 the Japanese wanted to send over a karate team to compete should they and their national anthem be allowed? And what exactly type of fairy do you mean?

Bishop is a reasonable candidate that would spare us from a lot of dog whistling style politics that will no doubt be coming either way. If Dutton wins, whilst he will be softening his persona to appeal to a wider audience, the campaign will be horrible for many marginalised groups.

Abbott has ruined this current decade federally.

Agreed, my time with DFAT Bishop was very hard working, a breath of fresh air after lazy Carr. Used to clock off early and never want to be in his office.

There was a lot of disdain towards Abbott in DFAT when he got his daughter a gig in Switzerland.

Judging by the ministers named by morrisson i would not expect to see any change to the polls anytime soon. The new environment minister is a perfect example of a square peg in a round hole, apparently she has an extensive background in the mining industry..

She's exactly what the power brokers behind the push wanted, someone who refers to climate change as "so-called climate change". Appears better suited to being the Minister for Pie Eating.

Get rid of Bishop - and get a fat no hoper in her place. Great work!

A very effective foreign minister lost and yet another casualty of our nation as a whole over recent years to satisfy Abbott, Abetz and their dark ages mates. We must be seen as a joke on the international stage, just like Trump, who is a convicted Rapist and Felon and his little rolly polly mate with the missiles.

And little Audry laughed and laughed.
