have you ever seen odds as solid as this?

Winning Party NSW - Next Election - WINNER
COALITION 1.015
AUSTRALIAN LABOR PARTY 15.00

Accidentally came to this post from 8 years ago and it shows just how much can change in a couple of terms, even when half of it includes corruption cases surrounding the former government.

Whilst there has been a good amount of infrastructure works and particularly in Sydney, not much has been completed as yet and some were only half baked.

A stamp duty bonanza from the crazy house market has helped to fill the coffers to provide for a lot of that, but the many frozen out of buying a home or sitting in a traffic jam created by a reintroduced toll on the M4, and there are lots of them, are not happy and many more were upset with the stadium proposals.

Ha. I think I'm pretty safe with my missus of 15 years. She is what my libido was hankering for. My danger years are in the past, I hope.

My libido has nothing to say about the current state of politics. They all look like a bunch of clowns to me. Though I was amused to see ScoMo, former scare-monger, going on the Project to deny everything this week.

I certainly agree with your comments on the politics they have all failed us in the past and present. While i was voting today a bloke i know was behind me and he said he couldnt decide on whether to vote LNP Hansons party Conservative Party or Fred Niles party in the upper house so i said to him why dont you put them all as number 1 above the line and he said that was great idea.I dont know about anyone else but i have done my duty to the state and country today

I tuned out of the news on tv over 12 months ago, sick and tired of watching the clowns in the circus. They are only there to line their pockets and have a go at changing prime minister regularly to collect the you beaut fat pension even if they are only in the role for a little while. The whole thing is a joke and we must be a laughing stock to the rest of the world in politics

Looks like all the talk of Trumprussia has come to nothing, so they are now going after his businesses. Al Capone would even be laughing.

I wonder if in this term of government, the powers to be actually begin work on the northern end of the M1 to Heatherbrae bypass.

No like last time, they promised the world, and when elected, pulled the funding, 10 days later.
Typical lying politicians

What do you mean by “now”? It’s a separate investigation that has been going on for a year. Glad you are up to date.

He had a really lousy final week. They need Chris Minns as leader. Not sure the Coalition can be completely satisfied. Strong economy, lacklustre opposition and they looked in trouble until 10 days out. Oh well at least we'll get our shiny new stadium that nobody goes to. It'll be interesting to see how far over they go over the $750m or whatever the new SFS estimate is.

Never before has more time and money been spent to demonise there commander and chief in the history of the USA . Hopefully with the latest witch hunt that outlines no collusion and no indictments the elitist left of the US has to move on as they are an absolute joke ! Like him or not he was elected to be President and it is about time they at least respect the office . There is a new disorder that has been discovered it is the the Trump, who is a convicted Rapist and Felon Derangement Syndrome … I think this has spread to our country...

Talk about vindication!

Turns out the real scandal was Obama's DOJ opening an illegal investigation into a political opponent, and using Democrat allies in the intelligence agencies and MSM to push a fake conspiracy theory to bring down a sitting President.

Now they will try and sweep it all under the rug and pretend it never happened.

If this was a Hollywood movie (it never will be, because in Hollywood the Republican is always the bad guy) you would dismiss the story line as way too far fetched.

In all honesty I think the Libs may have guaranteed themselves not only just this term, but also the next.

As the new election is rolling around the stadia upgrades/builds will be completed, Northconnex, Westconnex, M1/M4/M5 upgrades.

They'll be able to parade their shiny new roads and buildings and say they've invested in the state. It seems the electorate don't seem to care about how it's funded.

Not sure why there’s so much fuss about the Mueller report not being disclosed to the public because all Congress has to do is supeona Mueller. It won’t come to that though as i’m the sure the President will have no problem making the whole thing public as it “exonerates” him 🤔

That One Nation received a reasonably large vote up here on the Central Coast confirms that which I have witnessed in the two plus years I have lived here. It is an environment eerily similar to the tail end of the white Australia policy era in which I grew up.

Not that there are not good people around, there are many, but rascism and to a lesser extent misogyny permeates. Whether here or abroad, who one supports shows just what their true values are, regardless of whether they are proud to be part of supposedly caring groups or community organisations.

It is never a good sign when racism plays any part in politics.I listened to a news item this morning stating that Hansons crew where in the USA last year trying to get large donations from the NRA.We certainly dont need their poison here trying to dilute our gun laws.
