The Solomons will view our rhetoric as chauvinistic at best almost like they are our property. We will seem weak to them.
And even worse notice our government saying that China putting a military base there is a "red line". Wonder what they have in mind. Invasion, provocation or another military base right alongside escalating risks.
Kinda funny as I mentioned in the war thread that Russia kept repeating that Ukraine in NATO is a "red line " and the west scoffed at that with Biden saying he "doesn't respect anybody's red lines".
