Unfortunatley the Australian electorate is a mind numbingly stupid place where people get focused on one or two trivial issues and are unable to focus on the bigger picture.

Is it any wonder that we are failures of almost American proportions in stabilised growth plans. The electorate remains a place where instant gratification of the individual will always outweigh the altruistic greater good.

Well Rudd for all his failures he got alot done in his stint.

I think that the nationalised health service will be looked upon in years to come as a watermark moment much like floating the dollar and allying with Asia in trade blocks

I used to work on Abbott's portfolio when I worked on the budget and I can tell you, he's better than the public give him credit for. He doesn't come across well on TV but he's smart, and more importantly, the likes of Hockey, Joyce etc. are a much better team than the likes of Swan, Tanner etc.

I think the wasted money on the BER, Swan remaining as treasurer and the fact Julia was in the communist party will make their job difficult.
