Despite the fact that hold freedom of speech and the right to protest in the highest order, how do our "overlords" (joking...... relax) justify that we cant go to the footy, go to the gym etc? How do our overlords look in the eye, business owners who are seeing their lifetime works and dream evaporate?

Yes but there was very little attempt at that stage in Spain at controlling the spread with few restrictions in place.Admittedly that is what my memory tells me.
Our situation is very different with new cases here nearly always coming in from overseas.

Yes but there was very little attempt at that stage in Spain at controlling the spread with few restrictions in place.Admittedly that is what my memory tells me.
Our situation is very different with new cases here nearly always coming in from overseas.
