Despite the fact that hold freedom of speech and the right to protest in the highest order, how do our "overlords" (joking...... relax) justify that we cant go to the footy, go to the gym etc? How do our overlords look in the eye, business owners who are seeing their lifetime works and dream evaporate?

I think these people are fools protesting now. I understand why they are protesting and it is certainly valid, but only one person there has to have the virus and it'll spiral out of control again. Absolute insanity.

How was old mate having a crack at everyone for standing on his lawn yesterday. "I just seeded it."

No expert on lawns, wouldn't have thought seeding in Autumn/Winter would have been advisable.

Whoever does Morrison’s advance point work is hopeless. Don’t send your man in if you haven’t checked things out first. Amateur hour...

Only standing on his nature strip anyway from the footage I saw.

Yeah but knock on his door first and make sure everything is sweet. It’s not hard.

Worrying signs on the Korean border as the hardline communist North stops all communication with the South. The countries are still technically at war with each other

They do this once every few years. The money must have dried up again and now Kim is out of caviar and Cognac.

It was apparently a big protest march in Spain back in March (for International Women's Day) that was a catalyst for that country's massive surge in cases.

The main difference is the rate of coronavirus was high and escalating in Spain, thankfully here it is the opposite and restrictions are being lifted. It dosent mean it is perfectly safe but it is doubtful to be perfectly safe for quite a while yet

Spain only had 430 cases at the time. 18 days later it had 47,000.

Yes but there was very little attempt at that stage in Spain at controlling the spread with few restrictions in place.Admittedly that is what my memory tells me.
Our situation is very different with new cases here nearly always coming in from overseas.

There was also a soccer match in Italy that was a huge contributor.

Donald’s campaign have a sent a cease and desist to CNN over a poll they put up showing Biden leading. At a minimum, I don’t know how his supporters can’t at least see how fragile the man’s ego is that this gets to him so much.

So everyone's taking a knee now are they?
What a load of garbage.... I'm sure some melb players really couldn't give two hoots about all this until JAC pressured them into it... and don't believe the crap where it says no pressure because the minute one distances himself from a team doing this every Tom dick & Harry will make.it into a big deal
We really don't need this American political. Crap in our game
