Although he's the future of the tigers, he'd be a tackling bag for those raiders forwards. Learoyd Lahrs and co would be licking lips at the chance to run at an inexperienced hooker like him. Although Fulton doesn't have the natural talent, he has a legitimate tackling technique and a no nonsense attitude which sheens will be looking for after our 1-2 start to the year.

We have 13 guys on the field at any one time who can tackle… The majority of work Robbie does in defence will need to be taken up by the whole squad.

The need for someone who can take us forward from dummy half will be far more important than who is going to do Robbie's tackles...

Some of you are seriously under-estimating the role of a Dummy Half!

Forwards need to dominate first before anyones making any metres out of dummy half

Centers wingers and the fullback cant do Farahs D . We have multiple problems and imo defense and completions are the main ones we initially need to focus on, the rest needs to wait.

Like having a carpet ruined by rain from a hole in the roof….you dont replace the carpet first when more rains predicted

Robbie is forced to do way more defence then he should have to because we do not dominate in defence like other teams do

If we could be more dominant in defence and slow the ruck down we should be able to cut down's Farah's workload in defence which will make him more effective in attack imo

The thing is, we used to be able to win games because we could score more points than they could. We aren't doing that anymore and our defence was dreadful against the dragons! I've seen park football teams defend better together than we did. Fulton is no gamebreaker but hopefully we defend better than last week

Should know by Saturday if Politoni is any chance to play. If he does not play state cup he would have to be a chance to make his NRL debut. I haven't seen him play live this year but from the games I have seen in the psat he does have some talent. Would like to have a specialist #9 in the 17 because as much as I like Fulton as a player, I don't think he is a good dummy half.

Sheens has a history of smokeys like this. Agree, give Pat a crack, Liam can still run off the bench. Farah may not be the eternal and having a good back up is a big bonus
