POLL: Should the club fold and handover/sell the licence?

The NRL, by allowing contracts to be broken at will, has created a survival of the fittest situation that favours glamour clubs and hurts the others. Broken contracts have cost the Tiges over and over. Moses. Cleary. Matterson. Lucy. Now Papali'i, which is again damaging because that signing cost the WT two good second rowers.

Word is out. If you can't get a contract, go to the WT and, if you perform, a semi-final club will pick you up.

I think the NRL wants the Tigers gone to make room for interstate clubs. I see no reason why they should make it easy. The WT owe the NRL no favours, that's for sure. The WT should hang around like a bad smell and be as inconvenient as possible.

I think we're ok with Papalii. If he hadn't already signed a contract, likely a very different scenario. Our club has been way too accommodating to whiners wanting out in the past. Hopefully, Sheens will take a harder line from here on.
 
Wests tigers aren't going anywhere the brand is too valuable for the NRL no matter what the current state of play is. I think in recent years one of the biggest thorns in our side has been Gus Gould. The guy has railroaded us on two coaches.... Cleary when he was here and now Ciraldo.

We have to learn to tighten ALL contracts in future so we are protected.
 
Absolute crap thread that should be shut down. They were embarrassing last nite, no doubt. But saying we should hand our licence in is more of an embarrassment for the peoples supporting this. Shame on u, if that’s how u feel, easy ho support someone else. Like it or not we are in it for the long haul, as painful as that is!
 
Feel like Ive invested too many sleepless nights over this mob already to let their incompetence break me. This club should be a powerhouse and yet our fans are consistently let down by decision makers incapable of turning things around when other clubs can do it in half time. Cant stand the thought of them setting themselves up for happy retirement on the back of the club failing.

He's in the media and is connected to an NRL club and is allowed to continually bag us in the media. This is wrong.

As bad as we are at the moment the answer to the stupid question this thread asks is NO !
What we must do instead ( we being the powers to be ) is ask why is it so hard to attract players and why do outsiders talk about a toxic atmosphere and they must answer these questions honestly and if necessary take dramatic action to correct this . And then ----- RECRUIT RECRUIT RECRUIT

The club has missed the finals for 11 years str8 and have made the finals less times than the Titans, and there are too many teams in Sydney...

The answer is obvious.
