According to this week's Big League magazine, here are the worse tacklers in the NRL by position:

Wing:

1\. S. Matai: ineffective 30%

Karmichael Hunt at 58% ineffective shocked me a bit, and I would have thought Sandow's would be closer to 98% :laughing:
 
Thats just the innefective. Add in Sandows missed tackles and it tells the greater story
 
pretty sure the article stated that it was made up of missed tackles and tackles that dont stop the ball

Hasn't he well and truely hit the ton already?

No suprise to see Michael Ennis so high up on the list, and it can't be said that he misses alot because of workload. The only hooker to average under 30 tackles a game I believe.

No wonder Hunt is going to AFL. 58% ineffective would have him one of their best defenders.
 
Not all missed tackles are ineffective though. You can make solid contact then fall off, but have the contact good enough to stop the play.
 
Yeah, he missed a lovely one yesterday for one of Souths' tries…
 
I think ineffective and missed tackles are the only stats he leads Farah in. All the other stats Farah dominates him yet some people claim Ennis is a better hooker. The mind just boggles.
