Positions up for grabs

IMHO, our 'franchise players': Marshall, Farah, Woods and Galloway are only guaranteed starters.
Lets just hope that 'anyone-can-play-anywhere' obsession is gone, so we will see players at their 'natural' position.

If they are healthy, Tedesco, Koroibete, Utai, Lawrence,Miller and Anasta are probably safe bet.

Go Tigers

I agree with this with the exception of Tedesco. He has proven nothing and should have to fight for the fullback possy. Most on here have him a walk up starter…I don't see why.

Well there is the other option of Moltzen Stryker and apart from 6-8 weeks at the back end of 2011 he has shown little

No Moltz should never ever wear the number 1 again.

I just don't see why a young fella who has yet to complete 1 half of first grade footy, missed all of last year and is recovering from a knee reco is declared by the majority to be a walk up starter for the fullback spot. If we truly lack depth here it could be another long year.

Lets be honest is there any postion that doesnt lack deph lol all we talk is we lack this and that lets just hope we dont get injuries and we will be sweet.

Tedesco played 30mins and for 87m in his debut game and has proven plenty to the people that matter.
Last year he could have been eased into 1st Grade and made his debut of the bench or wing or in round 20….. but the coaching staff considered him good enough to not only start in the first game of the year but make his debut in one of the vital spine positions.

Tedesco is first choice fullback because he puts it all on the line, can catch bombs, offers support in the middle of the ruck, makes line breaks and creates second phase play.

Everyone is fighting for their position this year and Tedesco won't be a walk up start especially after his injury.
Potter is looking after the long term future of both him and Sirro and they won't be rushed.

Something else of interest both Mitchell Moses and Luke Brooks will continue to train with the 1st graders when they come back from holidays next week.

Im usually one that urges patience and the need to not rush players, Ive seen a little of tedesco, not much…..but what I have seen imo tells me he's ready......he looked as home in the team as Sirro did, hee looked comfortable, capable.....he just looked at home
