Even though we didn't win there were a number of positives that we can take away from the game against storm.
1\. Big improvement in D
2\. Ellis back to near his best
3\. Dwyer starting to hit
4\. Thought Simona went great - we might have found our wildcard rookie
5\. MacKinnon gets another game under his belt
6\. Moltzen wasn't too bad, but still no impact
7\. Matched strides with one of the best teams in the comp without 3 or 4 strike weapons, two ineffective halves and a total lack of impact from our back 3
8\. Galloway getting better each game
9\. BMM had a great game in U20's
10\. We are a week closer to getting back Lote, Utai, Lawrence, Payten
But there were a number of downsides
1\. Halves ineffective after Benji went off
2\. Farah
3\. Kicking game
4\. Lack of pace and penetration from our back 3 (this is a big issue)
5\. Moltzen still a passenger
6\. Little impact off bench
7\. Allowed too many offloads
8\. Youngsters still making errors in defence
9\. Too kick happy
10\. Behind at halftime again
Anyway to sum up. We need to get some strike back, eradicate errors in defence, fix our halves, improve our kicking game. We can still either go one way or another ~ Friday night's game against Dogs may be a barometer of how much we want to move forward.
