Woods…..just brilliant, made metres and glued up the middle.

Sauce......not far behind Woods.

Taupau......dynamic in attack. Was stomping peeps. Im the most excited about him after tonight.

Siro.....looked huge and made huge metres every time he got the ball. Was an inch of scoring three tries.

Brooks. Our only real zing in attack....and what about him chasing down one of the biggest flyers in the comp??

Naiqama......i havent wanted to get too excited but how good was he? SO zingy with the ball in hand, and his defense was sooo amazing.

taupau great first stint, average second stint.changed the game when he threw a pass that didn't need to be thrown with us in control.that is his test this year, the second stint with the game on the line.
brooks i wasn't impressed.
defense looked better though.

i'm convinced if we play Naiqama at centre and stick with it we will reap the benefits long term

Biggest positive is we played ordinary and still jagged the win. If that keeps up, I can live with some ordinary games.

I felt our creativity was pretty good, some poor execution and timing let us down. It will improve as the season rolls on. Promising signs.

Taupau has to learn to have some ball skill would be deverstating with an offload, defensively looked good out wide and Rowdy was watching from the stand ,JT will have to make the call sooner than later.

The main positive is that we played like a team having their first trial game but still won. They played to close to their best and had a bit of luck. 2 points is 2 points but we'd want to improve on that.

Yeah you can see the ideas were good and we have the players to do it but the timing was off and we made a lot of error.

Gordon wouldn't be in the top 10 as far as flyers go. Was a great tackle nevertheless.

Goes faster on his magic carpet.

fair enough call, though Brooks running him down across field giving up the start shows not only heart but a decent share of toe. Brooksy may not be top 10 either, though he has pace to match it with the quickest.

Nice to jag a win first up, but I'm still concerned about our discipline. I really hope it improves soon because I don't think I could stand another year of being on the wrong end of the penalty count in just about every game again. It just makes it that extra bit harder to win a match with the ref's whistle blowing against you all the time.

The biggest positive was our improved defence. We missed 20 tackles (only 4 at half time). We usually have missed over 20 in the first half alone.

Yeah but we were the away side and mr. Bean was happy to award the Titans 2 - 3 penalties in a row to get them over the line. I thought we were a little hard done by tonight. And that will always happen.

The home town favouritism theory doesn't seem to apply to WT. Last season it didn't matter if we were the home or away side, the ref's always punished us! I hate to see it happening again, we need to address this, as much as we do our defensive issues, imo.

Was at the game and Lodge was doing heaps for us in the 2nd half, very impressive. Tapau just picked up from his 4Nations campaign, beatiful to watch, Woods and Galloway were relentless.

A bit of a sketchy beginning but the 2 points are a great way to start!

Gritty come from behind win. Don't believe the Gc were no chance crap. They only had two out and we had one out. They had a new coach and played / defended well in a home game for them.

Highlights - tapau s smashing runs / tackles. Woods work rate , offloads. Farahs 40/20\. Santi lodge lovetts slotted straight in to 1st grade. Brooks chasing down Gordon. Naquamas defensive reads and hit ups. Teddys brilliance. Simonas tip on. Richards field goal.

Sure not everything brilliant but we are one win no losses and at home to the dragons next week. For this week at least all is rosey.
