Woods - 12 hit ups for 112m and 38 tackles with no misses in 59 mins of gametime.
By far the biggest positive out of a very disappointing night.

Was just about to post this

No injuries was good to see.
Ellis, Woods and Beau were good. Reddy was safe.
Our scrambling defence was awesome.

Thats pretty much it for me.

Tigers gave away too many penalties, late in the tackle count, no doubt sheensy will blow up about it, at least that we can depend upon. Also Marshall intentionally head butting that guy in the arm didn't help, I think he is trying to knock himself out.

Woods was solid, as was Ellis. Marshall was dangerous in the first half. Not much else to write home about though.

fulton put in 1 good kick and was hooked.Miller defended well.Woods looked ok.I seen ayshford and lawrence tonight. My plasma just survived.

and if his teamates would have chased the kick he would of tacled there fullback in goal

They need an attitude adjustment. Sheens has to put the fear into them about dropping them or showing them some old school tough fought wins. I don't know, they just don't seem to want it at the moment. I'm worried about souths now. We should be going in confident. Not worrying about being 1 from 5…. Sheens, Do Something, PLEASE!!!!

By the looks of the side naned to take on the Rabbitohs, I would say Ayshford and Groat have been put on notice.

At last, lets talk about some positives. Reddy looks like good value, Ellis as usual, Woods shaping up to be a regular starter, Ryan playing tough. 2 tries scored last Monday night were from Moltzen at fullback running angles off Marshall thus providing options and creating confusion for opposition. Humble looked strong also coming off the bench so I think he'll possibly be a tough No.7 this week not afraid to mix it up a bit. Fulton is no Farrah but he is solid as a replacement hooker, Marshall's kicking game last Monday night was quite good. Several times he kicked deep into corners in order to pin them well in their own territory. I think the reason why this was generally unnoticed was because the chasers so easily let them out of trouble with shocking missed tackles.

I saw some positives…...especially our scrambling defense which was finals type imo.

The Raiders had enough possession/penalties and intercepts to have a 50 point lead......yet we were still in it until Bunji hit the uprights with ten to go.

Normally if a team has 62% possession its a complete massacre.

The boys showed ticker, and it kept us in the game,so we know the boys have heart and had a go.

Hopefully we will start executing plays with the same gusto....then we will be the force that we know we should be.

i think if we had of signed mason it may well have placed the players in the front under a bit extra presure knowing we are possably replacing one of them , and fired them up

I thought we made too many silly mistakes & gave away too many penalties, but the first halves defensive performance was ok considering the lack of possession!!
