Very, very hard to catch. The infected person would have to vomit on you for you to have any potential to catch it.

Any person coming from that region should be banned from coming here until things have settled down. Aussie passport holders, including doctors should be held for at least 21 days before being allowed back into the community.

Neither were suspected Ebola cases at all despite what the media say. They were people in high risk categories (i.e. recently been to West Africa) being checked as a precaution.

We need to be cautious sure , but the chances this will be Ebola are very minimal and seems like they have it under control

I may not have faith in our politicians , but I do have faith in our medical system and our Docs and nurses in the system

I don't have faith in our Immigration Department and the right Protocols with People flying in from Africa.

Really? I'm quite sure our border security, immigration and customs is one of the best if not the best in the world. Sure the location helps but the system in place is probably the best.

When you say our Border Security , immigration and customs is one of the best if not the best in the World? On what grounds? a perception you have ? well surely if proven that this Patient in Brisbane has contacted the Ebola virus ? we can't be the best as we have allowed the Virus to get in our shores , Correct ?
When i say faith? it does not mean i don't think they are doing everything in there power to stop such things from occurring but if not properly Quarantined we have a massive battle on our hands.

It wasn't a case of me saying your not correct in us having one of the best border , immigration , and Customs in the World ? it was more from where you got that info ? for that being the case .
As much as your Article states all that info? that African Women still came in our shores after being in a highly infected Area , Yeah her results came back Negative with her results but did the right question where asked and did she inform our Authorities form the Area in Africa she came from? (being High Risk) , did they follow the right Protocols ? if they did and her results came positive well then obviously something went wrong along the way .
The reality is you will never control every situation 100% , like Drugs there is always a way to smuggle them in to a Country and you will never Control it 100%.
Anyway it was Negative so all good.
